We stayed in a Premier Room and had access to the Coral Casino, one of the best pools in which we have ever had the chance to swim. Everyone was so kind here - we'll definitely be back.

Location and setting were gorgeous. The room was quite nice, but not fantastic and actually somewhat tired. We loved the grounds and the labeled specimen plants were a wonderful touch. Otherwise, one would need a botany guide because of the amazing diversity of the plantings. We have visited many Four Seasons resorts and hotels worldwide and have always been pleased and often thrilled. The Santa Barbara iteration was very expensive at $800/night and I simply expected more. Four Seasons, in general, are in a class by themselves, but Santa Barbara would be average or below compared to others.

A favorite California coastal destination. California at its best with excellent service and amenities as well as breathtaking views of the Channel Islands. A swim in the Coral Casino pool and a walk in the hotel gardens or the beach in front of the hotel will hook you forever.

Beautiful Old Hotel - Million Dollar Views

This hotel is beautiful... I have a new goal to stay at all the FS properties and this one is gorgeous. You can tell it is older by the classic layout and architecture. My room was not ready when I arrived so I enjoyed a nice lunch on the patio overlooking the water. It was my birthday so they brought me a little dessert. It still wasn't ready when I was finished around 4:45 so they upgraded me to a suite. It was a beautiful large room with a steam shower (loved it) and Bvulgari bath goodies. Location is nice - it's about a 15 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara but it's just on the outskirts of the small town of Montecito which has tons of shopping and food. You can easily spend an afternoon shopping. The staff were all excellent as usual - but I really must say the valet staff were top notch. All were friendly and helpful, a few of them recommended some local hikes to me that weren't on the handout the hotel has and I did one of them and LOVED it! On my birthday!

Beautiful property and resort. Restaurants, room accommodations, pool and spa- all first class and across the street from the ocean with great views. Staff was professional and well trained. I would definitely recommend staying here if in the area.
