    Our Commitment

Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. encourages the local honeybee population with rooftop hives and an herb garden. Our herbs and local flowers are also used to accent creative cocktails and Blue Duck Tavern cuisine.

Water-conservation toilets, shower heads and faucets are used in all guest rooms. Toiletries and soaps are recycled by the housekeeping department to provide access to hygienic items to those without. The hotel has moved to large format toiletries in guestrooms to reduce waste.

Blue Duck Tavern - Food goods are heritage-quality and sourced locally and regionally; ingredients are organic whenever possible. Food waste is measured and composting is an active effort.
