Ponta dos Ganchos Exclusive Resort

The most exclusive beach resort in Brazil

Ponta dos Ganchos Exclusive Resort

An adults-only retreat, Ponta dos Ganchos Exclusive Resort, member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is located on a privately owned peninsula along the southern Brazilian coast. Just 25 bungalows (with hammocks for lazy afternoon siestas) blend naturally with the stunning local scenery and make for an intimate, romantic ambience. Activities, including fishing, kayaking, and snorkeling, emphasize the local culture and natural offerings. Indulge at one of the tempting massage tents at the Ponta dos Ganchos Spa by Sisley, or at the elegant restaurant, where Santa Catarina’s famous oysters are served alongside fine wines.

Hotel Tip

The breakfast is a healthy, ten-course tasting menu, changing every day. –Silvana Frappier Auburn, New Hampshire

    Sustainability

    Our Commitment

The care for the environment is part of the essence of Ponta dos Ganchos, which in addition to sewage treatment, captures rainwater to be used in gardening and recycles 100% of the waste. The organic waste goes through a composting process and then is used as fertilizer in the hotel garden.

The concern for the environment does not stop there. Guests can get around the hotel with electric cars, such as those used on golf courses. All oil used in the kitchen is donated to a local company, the lamps are LED (more economical) and in the office only recycled paper is used.
