UTS - Nurdan's United Travel Services - Turkey

A recent trip took us from Istanbul to Athens. Arriving a few days early in Istanbul, we wanted time to explore the city, enjoy local cuisine, shop for Turkish rugs, and experience the atmosphere in this ancient city. We were not disappointed! Our travel agent, Nancy Wells with Travel Experts, booked us with a local guide from Nurdan's United Travel Services. Mr. Cenk knew Istanbul! He was a local, so he knew which shops, restaurants, sites and museums we should not miss. He had our tickets reserved so no waiting in lines. Every restaurant we went to was delicious and not filled with tourists. We especially enjoyed the rug shop and love our beautiful Turkish rugs that are now in our homes. I am interested in the history of the rugs and now know about the designs, colors, age of the patterns and how they are constructed. Mrs. Nurdan checked in with our guide several times to be sure all was going well. Nurdan's United Travel Services in Istanbul is highly recommended!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Oaktay our guide for 3 days in Istanbul. Our driver Mehmet was also excellent and always near by when we needed him The places of interest that were chosen gave us insight into ancient times and to the present. Oaktay made every day interesting He is an excellent historian a d story teller We trusted the choices made for our Spa experience and the Grand and Spice Bazaar. Oaktay gets a 20 out of 10 ! I appreciate that Nurdan Services handled our guide and choice of hotel as well as the vendors we visited in the Markets We loved the Divan Hotel. Their breakfast is most impressive.A g star with all. Our only disappointment is that the Tile vendor promised us that all fees were included in the price. DHL would not d liver until we paid a Customs Clearance fee. Our rugs have not arrived but I was assured by email that there would be no surprise fees. Overall we loved Istanbul and want to return soon to investigate more of Turkey.

Very professional, "white glove" service in terms of meeting us, transportation needs, hotel accommodations and localized tours and detailed knowledge of the city. We'd definitely use them again and recommend their services without hesitation.

This the second trip for us with UTS and we highly recommend them. They have the best guides and drivers and are extremely knowledgeable about all of the Turkish sites. We visited Istanbul, Troy, Ephesus and Bodrum and our family were extremely impresses with the tours they provided. We would go anywhere with them. Mike01

The guides were knowledgeable and interesting, with a pleasant and positive attitude. They were patient and spoke slowly making sure we understood everything. The cars were immaculate and the drivers very pleasant while making sure we were their first concern. They gave us a tour of a life time while making it fun and easy.

We had the most fabulous day in Ephesus with our guide, Eti. Eti was knowledgable personable , and a lot of fun. I was a little nervous going into Turkey, but within minutes I knew I was in good hands. She greeted us right as we left the cruise in Kusadasi at 8:30 am. We walked over to a beautiful brand new Mercedes van and our driver was most attentive. We visited the House of the Virgin Mary, ancient Ephesus, the terrace houses, and the ruins of St. John's Basilica. We then had a most delicious Turkish lunch. The baklava was the best that I had ever tasted. We then went to a Turkish rug galley and there was no pressure, unlike other reviews of many other tour companies. We went back to the ship at 5:30 pm. It was a full day, but very worth while. I hope to return again and see more of Turkey! Thanks so much to Eti and Nurdan!

From the moment we met our guide at the airport in Istanbul ,and then again 16 days later for return to the U.S. we were in the most capable hands of Nurdan's United Travel Service in Turkey. We were so well taken care of and managed to see most of the highlights of a very interesting city. Our guide Reyan so very nice and her knowledge of Turkey and Istanbul "s history was was fascinating and very knowledgable. I couldn't imagine navigating that city without some one like Reyan. We covered a lot of ground and never felt rushed. I highly recommend UTS.

This was absolutely the BEST tour experience I’ve ever had! Esin, our tour guide of three days was full of knowledge and a wealth of information. Because of Esin, I have a love of Istanbul Turkey that I will always cherish.

Our tour in Turkey could not have been better. First of all, our private guide met us at the airport in Istanbul and stayed with us during our travels to Cappadocia and other areas. It's always nice to have the same guide over the duration of the trip and she was great to tour with. She was very knowledgeable and quite pleasant. We had very interesting locations to visit and wonderful experiences such as a balloon ride over Cappadocia to see the Fairy Chimneys, private sail on the Bosphorus etc. The company also booked us in very nice and unique places. We had a truly unique trip that we would never have been able to create ourselves.

Outstanding! We were met and escorted through all airport procedures. Our driver and guide were the best I have ever had, we saw Istanbul in a comfortable vehicle and our guide was knowledgeable and thorough in her descriptions
