In 1995 a sister and brother who had already traveled extensively for ski racing began helping their friends plan ski trips, and Alpine Adventures was born. From the beginning, Alpine offered the whole trip, from the adventure of getting to somewhere else, to preferred lodging, and including activities that would embrace the cultures of different states, and countries, and continents.

The destinations included in Alpine’s catalog are chosen after their company travel consultants have been there, skied there, slept there, dined there, partied there, shopped there, etc. It’s the combination of all these experiences that earn a booking recommendation from Alpine Adventures.

As Alpine expanded from multi-continent ski trips to all-seasons adventure trips all over the world, so did the awareness of responsible tourism. Most recently, after creating Adventures Africa, company officers and staff have become personally involved in conservation efforts and animal protection and rehabilitation organizations in South Africa and Botswana. As Alpine Adventures and now Adventures Africa move into booking the second generation of repeat family travelers, preserving the places where memories are made has become an uplifting priority.
