Wilderness

A wonderful trip that exceeds superlatives. The trip started in Cape Town SA where we visited the Kirstenboch botanical garden and wine country. Then for Safari to Namibia Rhino Camp and Skeleton Coast both run by Wilderness Safaris. Individual bungalows at both camps and at all others as well. Great camps. All along the way we were escorted from one connection to the next and it was wonderful. The second time I might (?) be able to do it myself. From Namibia to the Okavango delta in Botswana - one of the premier places in the world for wild life viewing. We stopped in two camps - Tubu Tree camp and Chobi. In Chobi we saw all wild life x2. Finally to Sabu little bush camp near Kruger SA - also wonderful. Food was out of this world. Starting in Namibia, mostly desert, and going to Botswana next was the right order. We will want to go back. We still have want to see the jungle and will use Michael.

Wilderness Safaris has a great formula: great camps staffed by fantastic people! I have enjoyed every camp that I visited.

Our tour guides were the best in attending to every detail of our trip. We felt like we were the only ones that mattered. Our every need was thoughtfully addressed. From Chris in Capetown to Ban in Duma Tau Camp and everyone in between, we received the royal treatment. This trip was a never to be forgotten event and we thank all for making it a special one.

We had a wonderful experience. It's not hard to deliver a great experience when you're seeing animals roaming free that tourists aren't used to, but it is special when your ranger, tracker, and the lodge go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable and comfortable time. Would highly recommend Tangala!

We did not go to Namibia but to Zambia and Botswana. It was the best travel experience of my life. ALL the staff were outstanding. I have already promoted WS to several friends considering trips to Africa

We spent an incredible week at two Wilderness camps in Botswana (Chitabe and Vumbura Plains). The knowledge of the outstanding guides ( Ebs and Chris) and the friendliness of the staff at both camps made the holiday very special. In the first 48 hours at Chitabe we were fortunate to see every animal we hoped to see ( and more)...lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinoceros, wild dogs, hyenas, hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, velvet monkeys, jackals, crocodiles, wildebeests, cape buffalo and numerous types of antelope and birds.

Absolutely fantastic. We were treated royally everywhere starting from the airport till we departed.

It was my first visit to Africa and to use Wilderness Safaris and I was very impressed with the company and their dedication to conservation. I traveled to Xigera, Savuti and Toka Leya and each camp offered a unique and unforgettable experience. The hospitality was incredible, everyone knows your name a treats you exceptionally well. The staff, guides and camp managers were professional, knowledgeable and grateful to have you as a guest. At each transfer I was met by a representative of Wilderness who guided me through the airport and to my transportation or on to the next camp. I highly recommend Wilderness Safaris and would use them again for future trips to Africa.

We were very impressed with the professionalism and logistics of this trip. There were no dropped steps, every connection was made perfectly. Camps were beautiful, food was very good, game drives were superb. Exceeded our high expectations.

Pineda was excellent. Both lodges. We did not really like three Gorges. Is was not 5 Star like our other lodges. Staff nice. Too far from Victoria Falls. We wasted a half day because there was no afternoon excursion. Definitely would not recommend. Lodges in Zimbabwe excellent all guides excellent . Swimming with sharks a great experience

From the time we landed to the time of our departure, Wilderness Safaris itinerary was top notch. Everything exceeded our expectations. The guides, the accommodations, the food, the daily activities and the people were all top notch and amazing. We will look forward to our next Wilderness Safaris vacation!!!!

It is evident Wilderness Safaris has been a successful operation for some time. They are "on top of their game" in all aspects of their business. Their representatives were friendly, helpful and always punctual. We would definitely use them again.

Our experience with Wilderness Safaris was excellent. All the staff and subcontractors who worked with us were knowledgeable and couldn't have been more helpful. The accommodations were first class, the food was great, and the drink seemed bottomless.

I am not exaggerating when I say that they think of everything. The staff in each of the camps was warm, cordial, professional, and attentive to our every need. They were on top of everything to ensure that we enjoyed the trip of a lifetime. Very warm memories of the staff members we got to know so well.

Our experience was outstanding. We had a family member who was a celiac and all three camps handled this dietary issue wit aplomb. Folks were very obliging and went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome.

Clean transportation, friendly, prompt

Wilderness Safaris never disappoints. Their properties and logistics are fantastic.

We couldn’t be happier with Sam, our tour operator. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure that my husband and I were happy, safe, informed and comfortable. Each day with him was a new adventure and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He even checked on us after we got home to make sure our travel home went well. Thank you Samo!!

We had no idea that a safari operator could deliver on 5-star service quite like Wilderness did! They had every single detail nailed down perfectly. We were SO impressed with all three camps we went to. We are so appreciate of the level of service, the kind and knowledgeable safari guides and overall first-class service we received every step of the trip. The food was incredible!

Beautiful surroundings, excellent accommodations and attentive staff

The Wilderness Safari camps were excellent, each offering unique attributes. Staff at Qorokwe, Little Vumbura and Kings Pool were outstanding and service was impeccable. Customer service employees in the United States could learn a lot from the Wilderness Safari staffs in Botswana.

Great lodges and guides. This is our second time using Wilderness. Look forward to using Wilderness and look forward to using them again on our next African adventure.

Wow, just wow!!!! The trip coordination was seamless. The people were gracious and knowledgeable, the accommodations were terrific. Each camp had it's own unique style and set up. The rooms were comfortable, the staff and food was amazing and our guides--they were beyond spectacular. We learned so much and enjoyed this trip!!!!
