Our Commitment
Following the values on which our company was established, we work hand in hand with local communities, integrating them into the tourism value chain. We feature diverse volunteering programmes and created the LimaTours Foundation, which supports a variety of inclusive tourism projects.
The natural wealth of Peru is one of its greatest attractions. However, climate change and pollution are immediate threats to nature, which is why LimaTours, working under the 3 R´s of sustainability: reduce, reuse and recycle, gives passengers the option to contribute in the preservation of the environment through carbon credits issuance. Each credit ensures the planting of trees in the Tambopata National Reserve, under the supervision of REDD+ Project, an initiative aimed at the conservation of forests and their sustainable recovery with the help of local communities.
