We really had no issues with the tour operators. Tours were fine except for Pearl Harbor. tour. Was disappointed we did not get to go on the ferry on the water to the area of where the ships were and the attack was. We only got to see museums and walk around due to rainy and very windy conditions.

Our agent, Jennifer Fried, had 7 people from 3 locations all arriving and leaving within an hour of each other, a real feat . We had all of the specifics sent to us by Jennifer and Pleasant Holidays and since we don't travel that often, it was great having all of the particulars in black and white to carry with us. It made the trip so easy. I would certainly use both Jennifer and Pleasant Holidays again.

It was confusing working with Pleasant Holidays. The people at the resort seemed to not know what our package was and what we were required to pay above the "all inclusive" amount charged for the trip. I had questions about my bill when I went to check out, but could not get any answers before we had to leave in order to not miss our flight home. I was not pleased.

The two breakfasts that we were able to attend provided very nice selection of food. The tour operators were very pleasant and we’re not pushy . The pearl harbor tour, the luau, and the horseback riding experiences we’re very good. The whale watching experience was very disappointing. The people that provided the experience spoke of the possibilities that we would be seeing whales etc. and that this was a good time of year. We learned later that the statement that this was a good time year was false.

Pleasant holidays is a great platform when things get a little bumpy. This company has great handlers and takes the wrinkles out of the problem to make the experience enjoyable. You can do it yourself,plan your vacation, it might be less expensive but at the end using pleasant holidays its worth it. Your treated from the moment you pick up your packet to go that the excitement for adventure is to begin.

Alexandra resort was great. Rooms were nice. Staff was friendly but understaffed at times. Food was good but access to food was limited compared to other all inclusives we visited. Fitness room was too small. Beach and water were the best we have ever been to. We would return to Turks in a heartbeat but might try another resort that offers more water activities rather then having to go off campus. We had a bad experience with immigration picking up employees from the jet ski business our sons visited. Overall great vacation will return next spring.

The flight, the rooms ...everything was great! The rental car was a bit of a pain, but more the rental car company and their workers, than Pleasant Hawaiian. We were supposed to have a sport utility vehicle...they gave us a mini van. It all worked out great.

Last December I booked a Waikiki package which included an OCEAN FRONT room at the Hyatt Regency. When I arrived, no ocean front nor ocean view rooms were available. The people at Journese arranged for me to move to an ocean front room at the Sheraton Waikiki, which was fantastic.
On the May trip to Waikiki, my OCEAN FRONT room at the Hyatt Regency had a clear unobstructed view of the ocean which I was pleased with.

This was our first trip where we booked the entire trip through a travel agent, and we probably would not do it again.
While the prices for flights and certain hotels were certainly a motivation to book with them, the lack of flexibility on the trip was not.
When the airlines changed airplanes and our seats were changed, we were unable to call in and make changes because we would have to call our travel agent to do so.
When one of our hotels only had one of our rooms (instead of the two we paid for) the hotel couldn't just modify our reservation and give us a different room because it was already paid for via the travel agent and changes would have to go through them. So we got moved from room to room every night - to stay in a room that was "already paid" for.
When our driver didn't show up at the airport to pick us up as promised, we were supposed to sit and wait until he showed up. After an hour we decided to take an uber and had to forfeit the $80 we had prepaid for a driver

Our crew were excellent! We did snorkeling and SNUBA diving. The meal was catered and delicious. Snacks were perfectly planned. The weather was rough, and the captain made a great decision to move and it made the day. We dived with the turtles! Drinks were wonderful on the way back to port.

This was a new experience. I had already secured our lodging and they assisted me with air arrangements and rental car arrangements. The airline did not open the exit row until the last day before our flights. They were trying to SELL them and when not sold they released them for assignment to other passengers. I had 3 people over 6 ft. tall and they were able to get Exit row seating on both flights. We were a group of 9 and only one person had a seat by themselves, which was not a problem.

Hertz Honolulu a disaster!Waited over an hour. Only 3 of 8 stations open.Aston Waikiki Towers awesome! First room had obstructed view. After complaining pointed out reservation on Aston letterhead, staff reassigned to a wonderful room. Staff incredible, room beautiful, view perfect.Spoiled us for remainder of trip.Aston Kaanapali Shores-gorgeous landscaping,pool, great location, great restaurant.Room decor somewhat outdated..3 star..Wood furniture incredible, but upholstery a bit shabby.Poor turn down service for sofa bed.Hilton Waikola.beautiful grounds.Tram takes too long.30 minutes each way. Parking too expensive, lot too far away.No turn down first night,attempted to open sofa bed.Sofa bed nailed down.Room was for 3. Staff should never have assigned that room to us. Had to have rollaway and blocked use of sofa to view tv.(Motel 6)Talked to property manager with no good results.Kid oriented place,would have preferred somewhere not so kid oriented.Despite Hilton,trip was wonderful.

Our driver was waiting for us when we landed in Rome with ice cold water provided in a comfortable, cool vehicle which was greatly appreciated as the temperature was 90. Luigi was very informative during our ride to our hotel and gave us lots of helpful hints. The Savoy hotel and employees were friendly and very helpful also. When we were headed to the ship, the next day, Luigi was there for us again. Pleasant Holidays was the perfect way to start our vacation!

Pleasant Holidays is a class act. The hotels and services within the Pleasant Holidays family are beyond exceptional. The one hotel I insisted on staying at, that was not within the Pleasant Holiday family, ended up being horrific and we checked out 15 mins after checking in. Thankfully, our travel agent, Pam Smithgall, was able to book us multiply rooms at a Pleasant Holiday resort with just a few hours notice.

Pleasant Holidays was good. They meet us with lei's when we got off the plane. They had our name on a board, so it was easy to find them. The car wasn't as easy to figure out. It would of been better to know they were in the same car rental spot as Hertz, but we still found them. A sign outside the doorway helped. Maui was great! I would recommend going to anyone.

Aruba’s Bucuti and Tara resort was awesome! It was everything it professed to be online, and Pleasant holidays handled all the details for us. This resort is excellent for married, older adults who like quieter destinations. Lots to do, but the beach is so peaceful!! We will definitely be back.

this company required everything, even the simplest question, tobe done through the travel agent. When I called to find where to meet the boat in mandalay, they wanted me to deal with my agent back in the usa and a twelve hour time difference. This is ridiculous. I will never book with them again.

First time using this agency. This was first class- except for travel arrangements. Only had less than thirty minutes to get to second leg of trip. First arrangement in fall was different than we looked at final. Two hundred dollar change fee- we just prayed we would make flight.

Very pleased with the itinerary that was planned for us which allowed for our trip to flow seamlessly. Overall, it was a great experience. The one problem we had was that our itenerary said someone from Pleasant Holidays would be meeting us at the airport to drive us to our resort. There was no one there and we had no idea where to go. We didnt see anything that said Pleasant Holidays. A nice porter man who helped with our luggage was kind enough to run around and find out where we were supposed to be, which was, VIP. As a first time visitor, this was very confusing for us. We did get an upgrade to a sister property which was more like a boutique which was fine. Quite, more for adults.

I needed a suite to accommodate my daughter, son-in-law and little grandson. Our needs were such that there be a place for privacy when needed. Pleasant Holidays met our needs with a beautiful property and an SUV to accommodate us with all our stuff. Every step of our vacation went like clock work. I would definitely book through Pleasant Hawaiian again. Thanks for the great memories!

Our experience with Pleasant Holiday, and our represenative, Courtney Regan, were great! The property that represented (Rui Palace Bavaro) was out of this world. Debbie was big-time good - all the way through our vacation plans and even up to the day we left. She went "above and beyond" to our way of thinking because when we had a particular concern about the weather, we called her and she called us back - even though she was on vacation . . . We think that was impressive. We also were extremely pleased with how she set up our trip and gave us a packet with very-easy-to-follow plans and directions of what we would expect. Debbie was worth the price we paid to have a travel agent help us with our vacation.

Our experience with Pleasant Holidays was the best trip of our lives! Everything surrounding our honeymoon was made perfect because of the awesome friendly service of all the staff we met with. I was amazed at how many different companies (Pleasant Holidays, Best Day Travel, Lomas Travel) interacted and worked with each other to seamlessly coordinate our transfers and excursions. These were truly some of the best travel reps I've ever worked with, and they made us feel like we were royalty with their above and beyond customer service and friendly attitudes. Pleasant holidays messed up every step along the way. I will never go with them again. My choice of airlines were a $250 flight or a $1000 flight and they booked the more expensive one, we tried to get them to cancel it several times and they actually never did cause I was double booked on several flights. Thank goodness for Nathalie Liu who spent hours trying to straighten out the mess and get the payment straighten out on our end. Also they over charged for a post travel tour, booking it to late for the early fee and then refusing to make the change. Spent more time undoing what Pleasant did then was worth it!

Although we didn't have much contact with Pleasant Holidays they booked our trip for Donna Hall. The hotels were ok, not great, but acceptable. Two of them were clean but old, and needed to be renovated. We requested a change to our last resort based upon written reviews that we read while travel king. They didn't charge us a change fee and rebooked us at a nicer resort which we really liked and appreciated. We attended one of their welcome breakfast to hear about the excursions that they offered. We didn't sign up for anything because they were expensive and didn't meet our schedule. We did our own traveling and excursions by driving the islands.

While we really didn't have direct contact with Pleasant Holidays, we had no issues with anything. Our shuttle services were prompt and accomodating to and from our respective resorts. The personnel were very polite and helpful on those shuttles. The only thing I would not want to use again would be Island Air betwen Oahu and Kaui. Our plane was a prop and was in dire need of some TLC on the interior. Would request Hawaiian Air as we had them from Kaui to Maui and their planes were impeccable.

We stayed at Bitter End for two nights and Bolongo Bay Resort for 3 nights - enjoyed our time at both resorts, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food was amazing and the views across north sound at Bitter End were spectacular.

Yes, we took three tours while in Hawaii. Rain forest hike, whale watching and the road to Hana. All the operators were excellent. Very knowledgeable and fun. I would recommend any of these tours. You really get to see things and learn things that you would not otherwise.

We had a real disappointing flt. from Auckland to Pape'ette on Air Tahiti Nui. The seats were marginal even in business class and the food was thrown at us when we finally received it. The flt. attendants were in attendance but that's about all. Oh, yeh, the flt was 2 hrs late leaving Auckland and we didn't get to our hotel room until 2:30 AM. That was ok, not! Then the flight from Pape'ette to LA was cancelled 48 hrs before we were supposed to leave, creating a bunch of anguish and worry at the end of our trip. Fortunately our Worldview Travel agent Jennie Jensen (love that lady) was right on top of things and rearranged our schedule and got us home safe and happy. Not so happy with Pleasant Holidays this time, but we have used them on previous trips with more success. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

The hotel states is is private and all inclusive. There were kids everywhere except one adult pool the beach was open to People outside the resort. The beach had kids everywhere as well. All the restaurants had families in there at night not very romantic. The hotel also states the it is in downtown playa. You had to take a 20 minute taxi ride the was 15 bucks there and back. The room was nice but you could get it to cool off.

In trip I was just on we found out some bad news of the resort we were going to about a month ahead of our trip. Pleasant Holidays worked with our travel agent to find a few other options for other resorts for us to choose from and made it super simple for our group to have a great vacation!

Amazing Trip! Thank You Heidi Nanigian, for putting together an amazing experience. Our flights, connections, tranporation transfer were great with no problems. Tours suggested were amazing. She knew that time was valuable and made our our connections, flights and ferries seem like a breeze. Our stay in Athen was great, enjoyed the monuments, shopped and was able to enjoy great foods and drinks with great recommendation due to a local food tour, all with the help with Heidi.
Myknos Hotel was amazying, her selection was amazing, she knew what we were looking for. To be able to enjoy the hotel, beach and hotel offer complimentary transfer to the town, for our enjoyment of dinner and shopping was great.
Santorini, I love the the fact that were centered in main city of santorin, within close proximity of shoppings, beaches and excelent view, while still being able to maintain our budget.
We are happy to put our trust in her and making our trip unforgettable. Thank you again Heidi N

Excellent. I first used Pleasant "Hawaiian" Holidays in 1980. It is still great today. We attended the Maui island breakfast/orientation, and Nao was great. She did a wonderful visual presentation of the island and fully explained the activities that Pleasant Holidays had to offer--with no pressure. She showed a map of the island and got us acquainted with the "lay of the land." We went with the 2-hour horseback ride with Lahaina Stables and the van tour of the Road to Hana. Both were excellent. Dani and Destiny of Lahaina Stables were patient, knowledgeable, and fun. Ed of our van tour was excellent as a driver of all the twists and turns of the road, his commentary of the area, and his stopping for photo opportunities. We also won a drawing to attend one free luau!

Our tours were exciting and well planned. Our favorites were the Zodiac ride and the snorkeling in the fantastically clear water; the helicopter ride, a peaceful glorious look at Kauai with Geoffrey; and the Pearl Harbor tour. We would not do another luau because it was too long a trip at night for us old folks!

First of all it was not disclosed to my husband and myself that Cindy was a Pleasant Holiday rep. We were under the opinion that it was the travel agency we walked into. We did not go on the trip, emailed her and called the Dreams Hotel that our trip had to be delayed by two days. She never got back to us until after the weekend. YOUR policy is to not refund or allow the room to be booked again. We lost 1400.00 dollars for 2 nights. NEVER will we use Pleasant Holiday again! Our cruise will be booked elsewhere for all 9 of us.

Pleasant holidays charged an outrageous amount for the service they provided, our airline seats were all the last row on the plane without regard to our preference and did not offer upgraded seats as an option. The rental car upon our arrival had the floor mats on the backseat that we had to reinstall in the car and we had to figure out how to engage the third row backseat- no one was there to assist. Pleasant Holidays made a huge deal requiring us to have the correct number of seatbelts for the number of travelers, and then didn't have the minivan seats set up for the number of people we had. We will never book a trip with them involved again. Never.

Pleasant Holidays contracted with a shuttle service in Punta Cana. The shuttle did not wait for us to clear customs and left us at the airport. We had to wait at the airport for another driver to be called in to pick us up. The shuttle was over 30min late picking us from from the resort at the arranged time to take us back to the airport. We also booked an excursion through Pleasant Holidays at the resort; but they neglected to tell us to bring the paperwork with us when we did our excursion. This lead to my wife and I almost being left out of the fishing trip that we had pre-paid for!!

Everything went smooth and there were no issues
The only confusing thing was the start/end location of tours; the original Information said one thing and the voucher said another. My phone service didn’t work so it was hard to confirm when we got there.
The tours were good. We had an issue with the Venice tour in that they cut our gondola ride from 40 minutes to 20 minutes. I contacted them but didn’t feel that they wanted to take any action.

Overall it was good. A few little problems. On the Road to Hana tour they were supposed to bring a vegetarian meal and they did not. They stop at a store and got a little container of chopped up fruit. Which Wanda couldn’t eat.

Our first trip to Fiji went off without a hitch. Our stay at Royal Davui Island was perfect! We flew into Nadi, Fiji, the took a small prop plane to Pacific Harbour, so we could take the boat to Royal Davui. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our accommodations, food, activities, and staff at Royal Davui. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We definitely felt pampered. Snorkeling in the Fiji waters was great! I would highly recommend Royal Davui. Our hosts John and Cathy were great!

We were so excited to finally take our vacation to Hawaii; however, the hotel was not as it was presented. Most of the amenities offered at the hotel were no longer available due to the pandemic. We had to pay the resort fees even though couldn't partake of them. Then, Pleasant Holidays failed to confirm our tickets to the Polynesian cultural center that we purchased in Oct 2020. The luau was phased out and no longer available so we were left not being able to attend the Polynesian cultural center. A big disappointment for my entire family. They were not on top of this and other pandemic changes, thus making me have to change many plans while on my trip. Thank goodness for Pam, our travel agent, who jumped in and handled the hotel issues we encountered.

The transfer (Terramar) greeted us at airport. They told us they would let us know when driver was ready. 20 minutes went by. They told us they were waiting for 2 other people and it would be 10 minutes. 30 minutes went by. They told us to wait 15 more minutes. We waited over an hour for transfer to finally tell us they were ready to drive us. On way to airport they were 30 minutes late picking us up at hotel. We had wrong seats on flight. We’re supposed to have one aisle seat and did not. Resort had cigarette smoke blowing into our room. Views and service were fabulous

Everything was answered with no due to COVID. Yet the resort was opened to 100 percent, but all restaurants, gyms and activities were only to 50 percent. No one at the resort advised properly how to plan for reservation when it came to COVID testing, dinner reservations, extraction and anything else you wanted. The staff was mostly pleasant, but a few were down right rude when it came to informing COVID restriction. We tried our best to follow all guidelines but half the time the resort had nothing posted and you learned through being told (rudely) by staff. I will never stay at any resort associated with this one or Marriott for that matter anywhere in the world. I can provide many examples of issue we and others we spoke with suffered. This company was a little confusing to try and meet up with for our transfer after landing at the airport. We also set up a tour with them that we thought was within 30 miles of our hotel to see some ruins and cenotes. We had one in our group who had just had ACL surgery and we needed an excursion we could do at our own pace. They assured us this was again within 30 miles of our hotel and we could just walk on our own. This actually ended up being a 3 1/2 hour ONE WAY trip to a guided tour. It was very difficult to keep up with the guide, and very painful for the one in our group to sit in the bus for that long without being able to stretch out her knee. Completely disappointed with what we were told about this excursion.

I cannot fault PH for the things that are going on in Kauai. It seems that the Sheraton Coconut has resorted to canceling certain items listed on the basis of COVID. Room service was not up to standards, they made check-in a nightmare by confusing the COVID standards to the point that we were frustrated. Some mornings we had cold showers. Numerous times the TV came on at all hours and had to be replaced. intermittently shut off at all hours, and the clicker didn't work and had to be replaced. To sum it up - Poltergeist! When we asked the concierges for dining recommendations, he referred us to the hotel only saying they had the best food on the island. All lack of proper maintenance staff. Would not stay there again.

The only thing that was nice was being greeted at the airport. It’s nice to be greeted but how about a little guidance after? There was island orientation but the greeter didn’t discuss it with us or where to go or if they recommended it. Nice lady don’t get me wrong I just expected more. We booked a king bed and got 2 super singles and told by resort they don’t guarantee rooms. I don’t know if pleasant holidays could have helped us with any plans on the island because our agent didn’t help us. We booked all activities ourselves. Was first time using travel agent and won’t be using agent again.

Julie arranged my pre and post cruise accommodations along with transfers getting to and from the cruise line and hotels. It was so nice to have that all arranged and everything was hassle free. Sandal's Papagayo Resort was wonderful and provided us with a great vacation. The staff was friendly, the resort clean, our cottage perfectly located, and there were lots of non-stop activities to keep you as busy or relaxed as desired. The complaint I had was that we paid extra for preferred status and, aside from our cottage location, did not feel we received anything extra for the money. We had to request our room be cleaned every day (they did come by each evening and asked if we needed more towels), and our mini bar only had mini bottles of vodka and rum available, although it had plenty of beer, soft drinks, water, mixers, etc. Again, we had to request the mini bar be refilled. We had to request our spa and wine coupons and the preferred bar with food was pitiful. Breakfast for preferred customers at the Seaside Grill was nice, however, it didn't begin until 8:30 am. so you missed out on it if you had excursions. Go and have fun but don't pay for preferred status.

Pleasant Holidays helped book our Royal Luau at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. We had a wonderful time during the entire luau. We had a warm aloha greeting and was seated at a private table with our names on it. Each family member was given a kukui nut lei which was so nice. The entire staff and performers were all dressed beautifully and were so nice. The only slight disappointment was the food. The presentation of the food was good as well as the story behind each dish, but I feel like it missed the mark on what a traditional luau should be. It just felt like they tried too hard to make it fancy, and the appetizers, main courses, etc were served in plastic bento plates. I think we were hoping for more traditional luau food in which they raise the pig out of the ground kind of thing with buffet style or family style portions. Overall, it was a great luau with beautiful scenery and wonderful hospitality, just keep an open mind with the food. It was still good, just different!

We had to change the date of our trip, and somehow, Pleasant Holidays cancelled our condo reservation, instead of changing it. At the last minute, we happened to check, and reached out to our travel advisor, who reached out to Pleasant Holidays to fix things. They managed to fix things, but the condo we ended up with was NOT as nice as the one that we had booked (1 fewer bathrooms, no view - in fact, we had a view of the parking lot). They told us the new condo was more expensive, and didn't ask us to pay the difference, but we shouldn't have had the problem to begin with. Disappointing.

Everything was Perfect! Our Na Pali Snorkel Catamaran was a beautiful way to see the beautiful western coastline of Kaua'i and the snorkeling was fun. On Maui, the Road to Hana was definitely a road trip we will never forget! The driver was wonderful and funny, as well as skilled at driving that infamous road.

Very little planning on our end, PH took care of all the arrangements and documents needed prior to our vacation. All the vouchers for excursions were emailed to us as well as the travel Itinerary. We did not have to make any phone calls or contact anyone in terms of our excursions, all dealt with by PH. Thank you PH for making this a simple vacation get a way!

Majestic Circle Island Tour - Our tour guide (Humu) totally made this tour! Visit to the Buddhist temple and waterfall were awesome. The visits to Dole Plantation and the macadamia nut farm were so-so, but it was great being on the bus and getting to see so much of the island in one day.
Waimea Canyon Adventure - Terrific! Even the coffee plantation stop was neat. We all loved it!
Deluxe Napali Snorkel Tour - For our family of four (including daughters 16 and 20), this was the activity that everyone loved the most!

I can't recommend Hailey's services enough! My fiancé and I were planning our wedding all by ourselves and were so overwhelmed we couldn't even think about planning a honeymoon afterwards. We weren't seasoned travelers and didn't really know where to start, so we were going to put it off or scrap honeymoon plans all together. Last minute I reached out to Hailey to see if she could help plan a trip to Hawaii. We didn't leave her much time until our desired trip date, but she very quickly put together options for places to stay, flight tickets, and a whole activities list! We told her what we wanted to do, and she booked everything for us!
When we actually embarked on our honeymoon, we had a detailed itinerary of our flights, stays, and activities! It was an amazing adventure and quite honestly wouldn't have happened without Hailey's services. It was the easiest part of getting married, and we couldn't recommend enough!

with exception. As this is a yes/no question, there are things that were good and not so good. Thought plane seat assignments were random random and not what we requested or anticipated. Based on personal experience and since we got tickets so early performance was subpar. Were told a portion of the ship credits would go towards gratuities. This was not the case. $40 per day was added to our account. We were told since we prepaid we could not use credits for excursions. I had to work it out with American Queen, as ship amenities were lacking. Blame game: The lack of transparency on what we purchased falls on Pleasant Holidays.

Pleasant Holidays has many connections with great hotels, rental cars, and package tours at your destinations.
The only negative I found on this trip was that the hotels do not seem to pay attention to the instructions Pleasant Holidays gives them at reservation time. When we checked in the staff acted like they were reading the notes for the first time and were not aware of our requests, especially in San Francisco. Other reservations, the requests were noted but not necessarily followed. That was my only disappoint, but it was not because Pleasant Holidays did not try. It was all on my itinerary, what was requested.

Pleasant Holidays is a good tour operator. The location of our condominium in Maui, Honua Kai Resort, was perfect. It had stores and restaurants near by. The grounds were amazing with many swimming pools to choose from. The beach was a short walk from the resort. Our room was very clean and had a great view of the mountains and a little of the ocean. We would definitely go back to this facility. Our package included a hertz car rental that allowed us to go on many daily adventures. We had a wonderful time in Maui.
Our second place was in Kona. We stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort. There were a couple of things we were disappointed in. First the availability of restaurants. There were several restaurants but many were only open at certain times. It was very inconvenient for us. Second, the location of the room. We had no view at all except for a rooftop. Our balcony was attached to the roof which you could climb over and walk on the roof if you wanted to. It made us nervous

Due to weather some of our excursion were cancelled, although the travel planners were through the hotel, we received cash back within 24 hours of cancellation which we were very appreciative. Our trips was so much fun! The Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco, Ca was exactly like the pictures online. The hotel was clean and atmosphere was relaxing. We spent most our trip near Fisherman’s Wharf. We loved Bubba Gump Restaurant, Day Trip to Alcatraz, and Trish’s Mini Donuts. We took the guided inside tour with audio recordings to Alcatraz. We took a uber to Haight-Ashbury and Chinatown. The were many photo opportunities. We recommend the Big Bus Hop On Hop Off Tour. I only wish we had more time to see the Muir Woods with Napa and Sonoma Wine Tour.

This is the second package in a row that we have used Pleasant Holidays Both times (first time a Sheraton, this time a Hyatt) we have booked a resort and got rooms that faced construction with poor service. Hertz- both times- has done their best to upsell us. I have not had the same reception ever when booking without such packages. Not worth any small savings.

I would recommend with out a doubt having an agent arrange your travels it makes it so much easier especially if your like me and have anxiety about traveling. I highly recommend if VIP service is available even if you think it’s a little pricey it’s so worth the money!!! I am so thankful it was recommended we breezed through the airport in less than 5 min in a different country!

I am not entirely sure what Pleasant Holidays did so will just review the things that went right and wrong.
Room were requested close together-success. Son and family had a two bedroom as opposed to my one room-so I guess that's why they saw the upgrades in their room and I had none-

Hard to locate-name of driver and license plate # was wrong both times-rode with another family to a different location before going to hotel. Driver to airport was a maniac!! Worst driver I have ever had. We were very nervous!
Hotel-Grand Fiesta Americana-was nice. Food was good. Room nice. Noisy-but I am just over the spring break craziness. One thing I would suggest to hotel, is that they have somewhere to dine earlier than 6PM. Was late for our 3yr old.

Pleasant holidays gave us an easy to plan vacation. Although the hotel wasn’t exactly what we had in mind and missed the mark slightly, overall it was a wonderful trip. Our travel agent was wonderful, but it would be nice to have more information about the hotel before booking. We felt slightly misled about the view of the room we purchased.

Nice resort. Small beach. Could not go to most all of the restaurants without advance reservation. Food was ok, not great. Too much trying to up sale things. On arrival, our air conditioner didn't work. The resort wasn't full, but they tried to move us to another room and charge us more than $100 per night extra because THEIR air conditioner was broken.

Transfers were great. Hotel was lovely but they put us in the older section. We had an ocean view but would have liked the newer section with a better ocean view. The Paul Gaugain cruise was upscale in every way. Lovely service, food and amazingly beautiful scenery. Next time might look for a better flight, maybe out of SFO instead of LAX. 4 and half hour wait time in LAX was brutal.

I was disappointed with flight choices going and coming. Our connection time on departure was only 40 minutes. Had our connecting flight not been delayed, we would never had made the connection. We left at 5:30 AM and this gave us no time to grab breakfast. COur return flight had us on the last flight out of CLT to ROA which was eventually cancelled at 12:30AM leaving us with no options to find another flight.

We loved staying at the Royal Palms South Beach! It was right along the "boardwalk" and the beach. So lovely and park like. Daily we took advantage of the hotel's bikes and rode around-even rode to South Pointe Pier. We had use of our rental car but most of the time we enjoyed biking and walking as well as the beach and the hotel's pools. Everyone who worked at the hotel were so polite and kind. It made staying there even more pleasurable.

Pleasant Holidays provided good service. We didn’t move around much so there wasn’t much opportunity to “mess up”. The resort we stayed at Ladera is the absolute best resort!! If you are comfortable with communing with Mother Nature this is the place to stay! Service is impeccable and the views breathtaking 24/7! We loved our stay!

Pleasant Holidays provided us with 3 distinctive wonderful excursions!
#1 My favorite was an all day tour thru KapohoKine Adventures/Evening Volcano Explorer - Evening Volcano Explorer. Ray was an EXCELLENT guide who could answer all my questions! The tour covered 3/4 of the island. We especially enjoyed our stop at the Punalu'u Bake Shop! The best part was Ray's knowledge as we toured Volcanoes National Park. Our only regret was that we didn't see any lava glowing.
#2 My husband's favorite excursion was A-BAY-Whale Watch with Hawaii Nautical - Kona. We were very lucky to see as much whale activity as we did - including a breaching! What a treat!
#3 Hawaii Forest & Trail's Mauna Kea Summit & Stars' excursion was initially cancelled because of rain/wind on the summit. But fortunately it was rescheduled and we had beautiful weather to see the sunset & observe the stars. This experience was educational but being at 14,000 was physically stressful and older visitors should be cautioned.

I have concerns with PH. We've used them many times and it seems that the hotels are always a problem. Something always goes wrong. This time, we experienced COLD showers the very first morning. They finally fixed the issue, but they should have known about the issue from the maid or prior customer. That night the toilet began to leak and we had to be moved the next day to another room. That was OK, but the new, better room had spilled ice cream on the balcony & was not cleaned up by the maid service before we occupied the room. So, why and I paying a resort fee if they don't clean it up?

The hotel was in a good location, but I would have like to have known in advance that there was no on-site meal options. I might have selected a different even if more costly hotel. The company selected for ground transportation was difficult to work with. We did not know exactly what to do once we landed and once we did reach the company there was a lot of confusion. Also, when trying to confirm transportation for the return trip, we had to contact JoAnn to help with the arrangements. I will never use Airlink again.

Everything went very smooth from our flight from Roanoke to Punta Cana. The resort was absolutely beautiful and most of the staff were very pleasant. The beach was beautiful, the pools were great, never had any problems getting seated at the different restaurants, only restaurant we made a reservation at was the steakhouse. All in all it was a fantastic vacation!!

The sunset cruise in Puerto Vallarta was an unforgettable experience. The views were absolutely stunning, with the sun setting over the ocean creating a magical atmosphere. The food on board was amazing, offering a delicious variety that pleased everyone's palate. The photographer did an excellent job capturing our special moments, ensuring we have beautiful memories to look back on. This was truly a trip to remember, filled with breathtaking scenery, great food, and wonderful company. I highly recommend this cruise and plan to use this company for future travels. They were there when we arrived but I thought the wait for our transfer to the hotel as a little long. The return trip we were told to be at the hotel entrance at 11:30 for pick up. They did not arrive until after 12:00. We were concerned and called Jeanne Huth who took care of things as usual. We were concerned about missing our flight but we made it. If you
say 11:30 we were here by 11:20. You should be there on time not thirty minutes late.

The Disney package was the better part of the vacation, it just didn’t include what the agent and I clearly discussed. I’m so unhappy with the agent I can’t see the difference between this company and her. I can tell you I feel cheated that I do not get any help with the insurance I purchased. I was forced to pack up after one night at the hotel and move to the other side of the state to salvage my family vacation. At this point, I had to pay for 2 rooms for 2 nights at 2 different hotels because I couldn’t just check out and get a refund for the rooms I couldn’t use. I bought insurance for just such a situation but it’s crickets from everyone. Because of that, I’ll be loud about not using the agent or Pleasant Holidays, our the group the agent “works” with

If this review is for the tour operators for the excursions, they were all good guides and provided good information. It was difficult to understand some though due to accents and bus environment. The only tour I regret was the Fantasia show which I thought was a little tacky and I was concerned for the care of the horses which appeared to have bloody saliva from their bits and were frightened when the guns were fired.

This one is a little harder to evaluate because I am not sure where Pleasant Holidays fits in with the whole picture of airfare, transportation, accommodations. Accommodations and airfare transportation was awesome. The airport to hotel transportation however could be improved. The company was supposed to meet us as we left baggage claim with a board with my name on it. Not only did they not do that but my husband and I made all the way to the Taxi area. Since I speak spanish, someone that was trying to get us to take their car that I let know who I was looking for, actually took me back to the desk where the company was. I approached the desk and the guy there wasn't very helpful. I finally found my name on a board on the desk and I pointed to it. Again didn't really acknowledged us but then said, okay come with me. We then followed him to a shuttle. Scheduling return trip was professional. I shared all of the details with the advisor.

We enjoyed the 3 tours we were able to take, though getting on and off the buses was difficult for those of us short people especially if there are mobility issues. Perhaps step stools or some kind of extra stair might help. The drivers and tour guides were very good.

Will not repeat trip - never received the hotel room we were promised. Instead given the handicap room without any compensation. Made reservation 6 months ago and given the last 5 seats on the plane next to the bathroom that don’t recline. Too far from downtown Cabo without a some sort of car service - so must taxi $50+ cab each way. Drinks ridiculously priced - $10 coffee which should be complimentary for guests

Pleasant Holidays provided outstanding service for us as two passengers in wheelchairs and a lot of luggage for our arrival and departure from Maui airport. They expertly helped us with a lot of luggage. We also want to commend especially driver Mel Domingo who coordinated with the extra staff for our luggage on departure.
