BOUTIQUE JTB - Japan
Your Tailored Travel Designer in Japan

Virtuoso and your Travel Advisor curate the best travel experiences from around the world. We choose exclusive experiences just for you. Spring is the busiest travel season in Japan due to the beautiful cherry blossoms, but you need to be prepared for the crowds of people. Climbing to the top of Mt. Fuji is only allowed during the summer, from July 1st until August 31st.
Insider Tip
In Winter, you have clearer view, so from Lake Ashi in Hakone you have a wonderful view of Mt.Fuji. Also, less crowded with no school group in Kyoto. Some spots are lit up at night. Fantastic!Virtuoso Preferred Supplier Since 22 May 2008

Our guide, Chizuru Yanase, was the best guide with whom I have worked over many trips around the world. Her English was excellent and her personality perfect. She guided us expertly to the areas we identified and offered other alternatives well suited to our group. She had a great sense of humor and was very engaging. Her knowledge and expertise were outstanding and our trip was fantastic due to her energy and interest in pleasing us. If I return to Japan I will do my best to have her be our guide again. She was A+ all the way and our group of 4 all felt the same way.

We were very happy with all of our accommodations and travel needs were all taken care of - going to a country where you have never been and where you do not speak the language, it is always good to know you are being taken care of.
