I could have have even imagined the experience that awaited us. The first night on a game drive we experienced watching lions eating a kill, so close you could smell the animals. All other animal siteings were equally as exciting. The lodging were excellent, service was first class and the people were wonderful. Cannot wait to go again. Post Haste Travel & African Travel did a fantastic job.!!!

Our African Travel experience was fantastic. We didn't know what to expect, but having said that, our African experience was far and away more than we could have dreamed. Great trip. Almost seamless transitions from one camp to another. I am a bit baffled that the 5% repeat traveler was not applied to these last two trips to Africa with African Travel.

Everyone we dealt with at Africa Travel were great. They arranged the best guides and made sure our travel through every airport and border was smooth and without issues. Anytime we had a question, they quickly responded through their contact people in every location. Our travel advisor selected Africa Travel for us, but we cannot say enough good things about our accommodations and all of the logistical arrangements.

Everything was well organized and both communication and value for money was well worth organizing our family vacation through African Tranvel, Inc. When I travel in the area again I would not hesitate to use theri services again.

This was the first time that we have used Africa Adventure Company. Their recommendations for trip itinerary and accommodations were spot-on. The private guides were exceptional - extremely knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating, and professional. They were great ambassadors for their respective countries, and we saw many animals and rare animal behaviors because of their expertise, leadership, and guidance.

African Answers .was very easy to work with and ALWAYS available for questions. My contact at Africa Answers was Rowan and he did a great job; I was taken care of from the minute I stepped off the plane until I left the country. A person was assigned to me in both countries I visited. People who listened, were on time or early for pickups and very knowledgable about every portion of the area I was vacationing in. My last day in country I was not feeling well, so on the fly I asked to drop something that had been planned for me to do and instead just find a place to rest. The guys that Africa Answers was working with took care of everything. Book with these guys.

African Travel was great! Other than a small hiccup with a hotel in Capetown (which they remedied), the trip was awesome. The drivers and tour guides that they hire were all super friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The businesses they chose for Shark Diving, Cape of Good Hope, and the Thorny Bush Reserve were excellent places. My wife and I would definitely recommend African Travel to friends and family! We didn’t know what to expect from our first trip to Africa. But our safari with African Travel exceeded our expectations. There were so many details, flights to catch, transfers, etc. and it all went as planned. The accommodations were amazing and the service was extraordinary. We also had wonderful guides that enhanced our experience.

Our experience with African Travel was wonderful. They sent us really cool carry on bags, as well as itineraries and helpful travel advice/tips well before our journey (which definitely came in handy on the trip). Every single driver African Travel arranged was helpful, friendly, and punctual. The cars were super clean and the drivers were super professional. We even had an emergency number to contact in case anything went wrong. African Travel was excellent and really ensured our honeymoon went off without a hitch.

Totally positive experience, the trip of a lifetime. The safari camps (camp Okavango, camp Xakanaxa, camp potato bush) were first rate with excellent guides, food, service and accommodations. Our air travel went very smoothly, as did our passage through various customs and immigration centers.The hotels in Livingstone (David Livingstone safari lodge) and Victoria Falls (Victoria falls safari lodge) were 4 to 5 stars, great rooms, service and food, particularly Vic falls.

Very professional in all respects. Great choices of camps and lodges. Particularly liked all the Elewana locales.

Most of my experience with African travel was great. The guides were informative, the vehicles were clean, safe and comfortable. We had a glitch or two during our trip - a driver that did not show up for a transfer and a guide that suggested a plan that we didn’t really love. Once made aware of the situation, the company and their representatives were quick to accommodate and switch gears for us. All in all we had a fantastic trip

They were very helpful in helping us plan the perfect trip, and gave us lots of additional information in advance--that was helpful. How to figure out tips, the types of electric outlet electric adapters needed, history/culture. Also matched the camps to our personal preferences. Really an authentic Botswana experience.

Anais Chavez was able to take my original idea of a train trip in South Africa and expanded it into a four-day stop in Capetown and an epic journey from Pretoria to Victoria Falls on what may very well be the most luxurious train in the world -- all while keeping within my budget. She also came up with exactly the sort of lodging I prefer. All of the African Travel associates along the way -- drivers and tour guides -- were where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be and each was unfailingly courteous. The whole trip came off seamlessly.

African Travel is terrific! They have never let us down. Their representatives are always where you need & expect them to be. Kind, polite and knowledgeable.

I will definitely use African Travel Specialists for any future African trips and have already highly recommended them to my friends. I dealt with Darren who was spot on with his advice. Sandra , our travel advisor , organised a phone conference with Darren early on in the planning stage and his recommendations were gold. I was unsure whether the mobile camping trip was what my husband and I were after but he reassured me that it was and we loved every minute . What an experience ! Also our South African sector was perfect for what we were wanting. The itinerary , accommodations and hire car were fantastic . Loved it all.

The program was great. The local tour groups Pollman Tours (Kenya) was great, Thompson Tours (Zimbabwe and South Africa) not so great.

When traveling in the Middle East, you want a tour operator with experience to make sure that there are no issues; African Travel is such a company. All of their employees were professional, experienced, and helpful. All of our guides were well-informed and helpful. Of particular note was our guide from Luxor to Aswan, Abdelrahim Ahmed Khalil. Whereas our Cairo guide, Wael Al Elaimy, told us how much to tip the bathroom attendants, Abdelrahim (Abdou) provided us with change so that we didn't need to over tip. Abdou also provided us with annotated maps of areas for which he was not allowed to accompany us, briefing us prior to entry on what were must-see items. Our accommodations were generally five-star, e.g. Fairmont Amman, Cairo Four Seasons, Moevenpick Petra. The Hilton Dead Sea, however, did not impress having issues with delivering hot water to our and our travel companions' rooms.

From the minute we landed, we were greeted by friendly faces. We got shuttled through immigration, greeted by a driver and got on our way. They contracted with Pollman's in Kenya and we had an excellent experience with our drivers/guides/hotels. Everything was taken care of without any issues. Would use them again.

African Travel along with Lise-Marie Wertzanl arranged one of the best trips ever. The whole experience was amazing, not a single hip-up. Good. We enjoyed all the Lodges, hotels. Having to spend a night in Johannesburg was disappointing. Would have preferred they figured out a way to omit that and have the extra day at Vic Falls

From the moment we touched down in South Africa a representative of African Travel was there to guide us along on our trip. Every national border was crossed with ease, every transfer was either on time or early, and we always felt fully supported by their team. No detail was left unaddressed and the trip flowed seamlessly from one location to the other. This is a well organized and highly functioning company.

They facilitated our 18 day trip to Africa, greeters, drivers, local tours, luxury game lodges and internal flights. Only disappointment was a quick overnight in Johannesberg at a downtown hotel, leaving no time to do any kind of tour. We should have flown directly from Kruger to Victoria Falls and skipped it. Safari lodges were superb as was food, people, and the safaris themselves.

Great service. Everything one could hope for. I was especially impressed with the Africa Travel representative who met us in the Jo'burg airport at the end of our trip. There were protests in Jo'burg. He came to meet us despite the protests. We were late getting to the meeting place -- he waited for us. And apparently he had to pay for a cab home because of the protests. Way above expected level of service

Our experience was amazing. The accommodations were great and our safari guides/drivers - Georgie Chiuri, Nicholas Kahura, Martin Mathenge and Seif Rashid - were top knotch. We had a problem with food poisoning running through our tour group but not the fault of Africa Travel and was caused by one lodge. Will definitely recommend African Travel, Twiga Tours and Vicky Malakoff as planners for subsequent trips.

African Travel provided knowledgable guides and comfortable vehicles. Having the same guides with us for the entire trip was a real bonus.

Our adventure was organized around our preferences versus a pre-packaged trip. It was perfect. The company selected lodging that fit our group and provided us a very diverse experience of the different cultural and geographic aspects of Kenya.

We could not have asked for a better experience! Hotel accommodations, tours, transfers, meet and greets at the airport all exceeded expectation. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I traveled to Africa for our dream honeymoon. African Travel was absolutely wonderful to work with!!! They helped to arrange a trip of a lifetime for my husband and I. We absolutely loved the Sarova Lodges that we stayed at in Samburu and at the Maasai Mara. The service was incredible and we felt like royalty! I would like to give a special shout out to Rose at the Mara game camp. She arranged a private dinner AND a private breakfast for us on our last day! It was incredible. Tony was our guide in the Mara and he was so great!!!! He was super knowledgeable and was so friendly! We enjoyed our time with him! And lastly, Seif Rashid was our guide with Twiga tours. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him and are so glad we had such an experienced, knowledgeable guide in Nairobi and Samburu. I would recommend African Travel to anyone planning a trip! We were greeted, walked through long lines and treated with kindness by all the staff and drivers, etc. Other than our last camp In Botswana, we were comfortable. Even though we did not have air conditioning in over 100 degree weather, staff went out of their way to try and help us.

Very well organized and executed in every way! Loved Governors Camp in Kenya with tents for our housing, and our guide Richard was fantastic! 20 years of experience! Tanzania had lovely hotels as well and our guide there was Joseph who was great! African Travel was on top of all the many details and our family is grateful for their expertise in every way.

Loved the trip!! Our tour guide George was great! The ride between camps was long but don't know how they could have done it differently. My only wish was that George would have had been using a microphone system. It was hard to hear in the back. I would highly recommend this trip.

African Travel and our guide Alex Odera were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our safari in Kenya and would highly recommend this company and Alex. At the very beginning, Alex took the time to ask us what we most wanted to see and then he made sure that we saw the animals that were most important to us! Alex was always on time or early and he was a very safe driver. Alex's knowledge of the animals, the countryside and the culture of Kenya was excellent. I would definitely recommend Alex and African Travel!

We would use African Travel again. All of our expectations were met. Safari guides were exceptional.

African Travel was first class. All accommodations and service was excellent. They paired us with Leopard Tours and I cannot say enough about the quality of the facilities and the guides. All guides were "top notch" and each one stayed with just us for several days throughout each separate destination - very knowledgeable, friendly and knew each game park like the " back of their hand". Always put us at the best locations and at the best times of day. Saw all of the Big Five game animals as well as seeing four different migration crossings of the Wildebeest ( and the Crocs after them).

Everything was seamless - from the initial greeting at the airport all the way until the greeters at Cape Town airport who helped us through security for our trip home. All of the drivers and tour guides were exceptional. Some members of the party left items in the hotel safe in Cape Town and staff went out of their way to figure out the best way to get them to us.

The Guide makes or ruins your African vacation. We had a good one to start and then changed to an even better one . Our guide made the experience truly wonderful.

Did a nice job getting me from London to Nairobi and to multiple safari camps seamlessly. Always a representative waiting for me. And the accommodations were excellent.

African Travel provided a complete travel adventure in South Africa. From the time the plane landed until the end of the adventure everything was coordinated and excellent.

African Travel booked us into four distinct and great hotels/resorts. We had easy transfers between locations and clear instructions about how to navigate travel between South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Our tours were also fantastic. We stayed at the Savanna and loved our safaris in the Sabi Sands, especially. The Victoria Falls River Lodge was beautiful -- with stunning views of the Zambezi River and animals roaming the property. Our safety was always considered and protected. The Ngoma Lodge on the Chobe River was an intimate, smaller resort with access to amazing wildlife viewing. We had an amazing family trip that we'll remember forever.

Great trip overall! Loved our accommodations in Victoria falls and Pinda! They were amazing! The Cape Town accommodations were great as two of our rooms were upgraded. One wasn’t and it was a bit disappointing. Very outdated and cold. The gym was under construction and also disappointing. African travel did a good job of responding to a request for a driver on our free day and that worked really well. However, our request to consider private flights was disappointing. I asked 2-3 days in advance of travel, waited to respond and then said they couldn’t get an answer for another day, and then said we couldn’t get a credit for our planned transportation due to it being under 24 hours. Also, we spent time flying in and out of Cape Town multiple times when we could have had our Pinda portion moved to the end of our trip, we would have spent much less travel time. Also liked having someone meet us at the airports but often had multiple people which wasn’t needed and felt excessive.

They were very nice and easy to work with. We felt very prepared for our trip. The group phone call right before the trip gave us an opportunity to get all of our questions answered. Was very reassuring. The trip went flawlessly.
