The entire staff was quite friendly and helpful with all requests. We were upgraded to a beutiful suite. It was large and very well furnished with every amenity. Our first night there was a lovely rose petal bath with candles at turn down. The breakfast was very substantial and the small bar and bartender a must to visit on our way out for dinner. We were located very close to the Charles Bridge yet still tucked back from the street in a Monestary Courtyard with charming landscaping. It was hard to leave.

Perfect location, excellent hotel

The Augustine was a convenient place to stay to enjoy Prague -- close to interesting restaurants and yet out of the crush of the Old City core. The hotel rooms were charming and comfortable, the buffet breakfast was outstanding, and we enjoyed both the restaurant and the bar. This beautifully designed property is built within a former monastery -- including having its own brewery! -- with the vintage exterior hiding a very contemporary interior. Our room was a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the only one within the hotel. During the remodel and renovation process, gorgeous frescoes were discovered and restored and this space became a large and spacious room. As it was very cold during our stay, we were thrilled to discover heated floors in our bathroom! The hotel staff were very helpful, particularly the concierge service who offered advice and made reservations, and made our visit easier and more pleasant.

Monks Lived Well

As the Augustine Hotel sed to be a monastery I can only say the monks lived well. We asked for a quiet room and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bathroom in particular. Breakfast was included and very good but the lunch a dinner menu was not to my liking so we dinner elsewhere. Be sure to make advance reservations a Kampa Park for sure.

The hotel was one of the best we have ever been in. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions for what to do and see in Prague. The breakfast was excellent as well. It is ideally situated in lesser town near the Charles Bridge and a very short walk into the main area of lesser town.
