Our Commitment
Minimizing our impact on the environment is a priority for all of us at Virgin Galactic. Our spaceflight system is designed to be reusable for its lifetime and uses air launch, two key factors in reducing environmental impact. We are committed to neutralizing the carbon impact of our spaceflights through a combination of offsets and emission reductions and we have worked with a third-party climate consultant to set clear targets for further reductions. As a preliminary step, we have offset the carbon emissions from all space flights to date and plan to continue doing so in the future.
