Cultural Cuba assigned both a driver and guide for our trip. They were exceptional - followed our itinerary and provided optional events for things to see. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Cuba and able to provide valuable insight. The museums, art, performance selected were exactly what we hoped for. The guide stayed with us throughout the trip and made sure we were safe at all times.

The only way to go in Cuba

I would never attempt a cuba trip without this team. Generally, you feel totally safe in Cuba, but getting around without knowing fluent spanish would be almost impossible without a guide. Cultrual Cuba make it simple from square one. All of our paperwork was done for us and we were ushered through customs easily. Our guide (Lian) was with us every step of the way once we were on the ground. At the begging she said "don't worry you're with CC (cultural cuba) now". We laughed, but it turned out being true. "CC" had our trip planned perfectly and also allowed us to pivot whenever we wanted. Lian knew so much about Cuba's history and politics that we literally asked her if she was a history professor(She's not). As part of our tour, we had a full time driver, Pepe. Pepe was a trooper and stayed with us a late as we wanted- he was very patient and protective. Overall- I wish we would have spent more time in Cuba. There were a TON of things on CC's menu of activities we didn't get to try.

Custom Cuba tour for two travelers

We had a fantastic tour experience, with a tremendous variety of exposures to local life and culture, along with the historic sites, driving, and food. Our Tour Guide, Mabel Munoz, was thorough and delightful throughout. Our driver Pedro was equally professional, safety-oriented, and fun to be with. On our next visit to Cuba we will definitely request Mabel and Pedro.

    We are partners of the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) for Cuba. We create and run all of their tours for their distinguished board members and donors and as such, we must adhere to strict sustainability guidelines and protocols to protect the environment - especially marine and land. We only work with restaurants which are certified organic as well as sustainable fisheries. Safeguarding the cultural heritage is our entire mission statement. We give 100% of our profits to support of the Cuban people and support many different community projects such as Head Start Pre-School for disadvantaged youth, free dance school for children aged 8-16, senior center, and more.
