One&Only Mandarina

1000 words can never do justice to the magicalness of the One & Only Mandarina. While the resort itself was amazing and memorable, the staff were really what made this once in a lifetime vacation one of the best we have ever experienced. We marveled several times a day at the thoughtfulness and kindness of every single staff person that we encountered and how each staff person seemed to intuitively know what our needs were before we even knew we had needs! The resort itself was beautiful and clearly a lot of time and energy was put into making sure that guests felt immediately comfortable and relaxed the second they walked onto the resort. While the resort is expansive and the villas/tree houses sprinkled throughout the resort, one could feel private and secluded as much as they wanted or they could engage in the common areas with other guests and staff and feel like they were part of this very special experience, the choice was left to each guest to ebb and flow.

Everything about this place was perfect. The service was incredible and the luxury treehouse that Emily helped to identify was perfect for us! Estafania was an amzing butler and she attended to all our needs. It was a much neede, perfect birthday getaway!

The staff here are really nice. Couple of minor hiccups with checkout and cleaning services, but overall a really nice hotel. You can tell they are really striving to have excellent service. The amenities and good are awesome!

It was an absolute paradise. The service was impeccable. It is almost impossible to describe other than it exceeds your every expectation.

Amazing service, beautiful resort! We went to relax and loved the secluded location of the tree villas and the many options we had for fantastic meals, activities and just relaxing. The spa was phenomenal and the yoga instructors were the best!

One & Only Mandarina is a unique resort in the mountains surrounded by the jungle. The villas are spectacular in every way and the views are stunning. They have a wonderful breakfast and good restaurants. The Treetop Bar is lively for happy hour with amazing views of the hotel and jungle. There is plenty of activities or you can just relax. The spa is the best I’ve ever experienced. The staff are friendly and helpful!

Everything about our experience at One&Only Mandarina was exceptional. The property, the service, the food, the rooms, etc. Very family friendly (we had our 8yr old daughter and 4yr old son with us, each of whom loved the Kids Club which was very well run). Plenty of space to spread out across the sprawling property with multiple pools and restaurants etc. The property was at full occupancy when we were there, but nothing every felt crowded or overrun. It was an incredible experience, we would definitely go back!

Great, very deeply relaxing. We were able to relax and decompress soon after we arrived - the rooms are beautiful and the resort, despite being at close to full occupancy did not feel crowded. The service was fantastic, and food was great. We used the spa facilities and were very pleased with our spa experiences.

The resort is incredibly beautiful. Food was fantastic. Service was excellent - I went for my birthday and the resort when out of its way to recognize that and make my trip even more incredible.

The hotel is spectacular. The rooms are isolated and private and are in the middle of the jungle. The beach and cabanas are excellent, and the restaurants are also excellent. I have a recommended the Mandarina

Overall, the rooms, service, and public spaces were beautiful. Suggestions - have more retail that isn't totally focused on womens clothes, and have more f&b options that are open longer. (between 4-6pm)

This was my second stay at One & Only Mandarina, my first being during its opening month when minor service flaws and unfinished amenities detracted slightly from an otherwise stunning experience. This time, everything was seamless. Our cliffside villa (137) was spacious, private, and beautifully designed—so inviting I could have stayed in the whole trip. But the beach called, and Jetty Beach delivered: protected waters, top-tier service, loungers, and beach toys, all without feeling crowded. The coatis roaming the jungle are adorable, curious, and harmless—some guests complained, but you’re in the jungle. The spa is stunning, though the mud bath and pool can be off-limits if a single guest books them—odd, but great if you're that guest. Sayulita is now lively and crowded; San Pancho is its quieter, old-school counterpart. One & Only has perfected its experience—I’ll be back.

One&Only Mandarina continues to provide both an exceptional hard and soft product each time we visit. This was our fourth time to the property and our first staying in Villa One. While we have always enjoyed our stays, Villa One was just magical. The service provided by our host and their team was absolutely top notch. They went above and beyond to make the trip memorable for us and the family. I would highly recommend One&Only Mandarina to anyone looking for luxury, peacefulness, and top level service.

What an incredible hotel with a one-of-a-kind room up in the trees. Food was amazing and our days were action-packed thanks to all the various activities offered.

It took 8 years to build this resort. Probably the prettiest beach club I have ever seen with the best water. You have your own personal concierge in the AM/PM and they drive you everywhere in golf carts. The property is huge and the food is very good. If you want complete relaxation and discretion...this is the place.

We truly enjoyed our stay at One&Only Mandarina with only some minor hiccups. Overall the level of comfort, service, and privacy were excellent, a true getaway from reality.

We have been traveling to O&O Mandarina since early 2021. We love this property. Mandarina is our yearly recharge. The location, rooms and food is outstanding. Best part is the people. Omar and Monica at the Carao pool are one of a kind. The guys and gals at Tree Top bar Mar each visit special. Can’t wait to head back!
