Our Commitment
Bill & Coo Hotels comply with Mykonos’ environmental laws and requirements and aim to go a step further to reduce environmental impacts. From addressing the rise in veganism to rethinking waste, we aim to keep our ecological footprint small.
- Our latest buildings were designed with focus on sustainability measures and are power efficient buildings.
- A building management system controls all functions of the hotel in the most efficient way to save energy.
- For the air conditioning systems and domestic hot water production, high efficiency equipment has been selected, meaning that energy waste is limited to the minimum.
- For the lighting of the rooms and buildings, new technology lighting fixtures with LED lamps are used together with advanced room automation controls.
- Fresh water is filtered and treated for safe use and the rainwater is being collected, treated and reused to irrigate the land.
- We have introduced a vegan menu and some ingredients come from our own vegetable gardens.
- All water offered to our guests comes in glass bottles.
- A charging station for electric cars is provided at the hotel parking, with plans to add more.
- Paper use has been minimized both for guests, including online check in, as well as for hotel admin.
- Sanitization of all rooms with ecofriendly products for environmental cleaning and disinfection.
