- With the intent of honoring the natural beauty, integrity and history of the Baja surrounding us, we are taking an environmentally sustainable approach to all we do. Using thought-leading sustainable systems, we are working to minimize our carbon footprint and reliance on municipalities.
- Solar panels installed on the roof of the associate parking lot will generate solar power for community consumption.
- Santa Maria Beach has held the international Blue Flag certification for five consecutive years, awarded for upholding the highest environmental standards. Meeting all federal requirements established by the IMNC, Santa Maria has also earned the “Playa Platino” certification.
- Twin Dolphin has undertaken an ongoing restoration of the natural coral reefs in Santa Maria Bay, in which new native coral are grown and array of species are reintroduced into our surrounding waters to enhance the marine biodiversity of Santa Maria Bay.
- Twin Dolphin also irrigates its Fred Couples Signature golf course and landscaping utilizing non-potable water produced from its desalination plant and waste water treatment facilities.
