Adare Manor

Former 'Preview' Property - Now Open

Adare Manor

Maintaining the estate's neo-Gothic architectural heritage and stonework was but a small portion of the fantastic overhaul at 840-acre Adare Manor. The five-star resort reopened its doors in November 2017 following an 18-month renovation project that resulted in the addition of a bedroom wing, bringing the accommodation count to 104, besides offering a beguiling ballroom, a state-of-the-art La Mer spa, swimming pool with relaxation area and a cinema. World-famous golf architect Tom Fazio is overseeing the development of an incredible "new" golf course at Adare Manor, which is primed to become one of the continent's finest courses.

We have stayed at some magnificent 5 star hotels but this was by far the best! We stayed in the Lady Caroline Suite, it’s unbelievable! The entire property is magnificent! The staff, the service, the food all exceeded our expectations! YOU MUST VISIT IF YOU TRAVEL TO IRELAND! There’s a reason it won Virtuoso’s Best Hotel in 2018!

Adare Manor is one of my top places to stay. The new golf course is amazing. Sporting clays with Willie was great & I love the access to the village. Great bar & staff to assist with every little detail. Can’t wait to return.

Most enjoyable and happy - from being greeted at the gates with Happy Birthday song sung for me to the outstanding staff who where so cheerful and helpful. When it was noticed that we hadn't allowed enough time to get to the train station when we asked for transportation, they changed the time and found us (in the beautiful Tack Bar)! to let us know. The renovation of the Manor was done with exquisite thought and care, making it one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. My husband, his friend and our son were there in 2015 to golf so they were really able to appreciate what was done. And my friend and I appreciated the attention to detail in such things as the little bag with the tea we had each chosen at the High Tea to take back with us had the ceiling pattern reflected on the bag. Last, but NOT least, the food -- Absolutely exquisite! Each meal was prepared with great care to look beautiful, as well as, taste out of this world...and the chocolate!! Best I've ever had.

Outstanding Full Service Resort

We were extremely impressed by what has been done at Adare Manor. They took a dated facility and did more than breath new life into it-they appear to have had an unlimited budget and exceeded it. Given the size of the investment one might expect over the top pricing but that was not the case. A multitude of resort activities adds to an amazing building. The addition, adding many new facilities esp event space and additional rooms appears to blend seamlessly with the old Manor which in itself has become a wonderful hotel. Our suite overlooking the river was beautifully equipped, furnished and decorated and close to the wonderful spa. Truly a first class property - sadly no time to enjoy the golf course which looks outstanding. Food in main dining room, breakfast gallery and carriage house was excellent. All in all great place for couples, families or golf groups.

Expensive but worth it

This was first hotel during our three week trip. And staying there started off our trip with a bang. It is located on a championship golf course. Our large suite overlooked one of the highly manicured homes/greens. Ryder Cup in a couple of years should be a shoo in. We participated in many activities...carriage ride around the property, falconry, private field trial dog demonstration, which were always guided by mature, highly knowledgeable individuals. We took advantage of their fine dining restaurant, their clubhouse grill restaurant, and the bar, which has an extensive selection of the best Irish whiskey. All were outstanding. The hotel itself seemed to be filled with Americans (more than we encountered in any other hotel on our trip). Our only question is whether we paid as much as we did because of the incredible golf course and facilities. We did not play, and hope that we did not subsidize the golfers who did.
