La Cantera was lovely & the Virtuoso amenities were a nice treat. The kids loved the cookies delivered to the room! This place is so beautiful - we can’t wait to go back. We talked about trying to recruit some friends to go down with us for the next visit & make it a family caravan. The Shops at la Cantera were nice, too. Maybe we will even try Fiesta Texas (six flags) news time.

I have stayed at La Cantera the last 3 years for Thanksgiving Week. We love the service and so wonderful to see the Christmas decorations on FRIDAY morning. We stayed in the villas this year and totally loved our experience, As always a special dinner at Signature..

We go to San Antonio 2-3 year to see family and usually stay at other resorts and hotels; First time here, and we stayed at the Villas for 5 days during Thanksgiving week; From the moment we arrived the service was excellent. The Villas GM, Mr. English, greeted us as well, gave us his card, said to contact him if we needed him. The entire staff greeted us like they were glad we were there; We travel all over the world, and that's how 5 star resorts should greet their guests. The actual Villa Suite was pretty nice, a little nicer than the online photos; The Villas, the Villas area, and the entire resort is very well maintained. They gave us a golf cart to drive around, and there were other amenities; It's probably not as kid oriented as JW Marriott, but classier and more luxurious, and kid friendly enough. The view from this resort is awesome. The location is perfect near the La Cantera and RIM shops; Finally, we thought the food was good and reasonably priced.

First trip to La Cantera was the result of likely an error where every room on the website was the same price, including the Luxury Suite that is normally over over $1500 a night. So for less than $300 we couldn't pass it up. This time we stayed in a much more modest room but still had a great time and will be back for sure. San Antonio is great but the resort itself is worth just spending your days there if you truly just want to relax.

This place was beautiful. We stayed here with a group of friends and family for a golf and spa getaway. Will definitely come here again.

The resort offers great infrastructure and nice outdoor spaces. The green is well kept and there are plenty of areas to seat outside to enjoy a drink with friends. Unfortunately, most common areas are not very clean; the pillows of the outdoor chairs have stains all over. The chairs in the main restaurant terrace are in bed shape and need replacement. The club lounge ("seven") was also quite dirty. When we entered the reserved check-in area, we noticed crumbs and dropped food on the floor; not a great first impression. The hotel does not offer turn down service, which was a great disappointment, and food quality in the 2 main restaurants was ok. A big plus was the new spa which offered an oasis of tranquillity and a wonderful infinity pool overlooking the hill country. The resort might be a good spot for families, not so much for couples looking for a sophisticated getaway

I am thrilled with our experience at la cantera! I was hosting a 40th birthday party for 30 people at the cabanas. Lauren handled reserving the 2 poolside cabanas and she booked the hotel rooms for the guests - she managed to upgrade all of us to the VIP 7th floor and a full extra day at the spa with 4pm checkout. We all got free gourmet breakfasts and each received a $100 resort credit to go towards our meals and drinks. We had a blast and I’ll only use Lauren from Now on to book all my hotels and trips.

Fantastic! This is our second year and we love staying on Seven. The private checkin, complimentary happy hour and private concierge are all amazing. We love the Sky Loft couples massage at the spa along with the spa lounge, sauna and herbal steam room. The adult pool cabana was well worth it and our server Victoria was amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My daughter and I did a quick getaway to the villas at La Cantera. It is always one of our favorite spots for a weekend trip. The Villa customer service has always been *by far* the best customer service I have ever had at a hotel or resort. We have been several times over the years, and I am so thankful that this is always the experience. Karson even helped me figure out an Uber situation that I am thankful for! The food is always good. Pools are always fun. Would definitely recommend to all.

Lauren is the best and I use her for every booking I make because it costs the same as booking on my own and I get lots of incredible upgrades and amenities like use of the spa, the 7th floor bar and snack center. Lauren makes everything so much easier and better and a highly recommend!

La Cantera Resort was the perfect setting for our son's wedding weekend. The stunning views, excellent amenities, and attentive staff made the experience unforgettable. The accommodations were luxurious, and the atmosphere was ideal for celebrating such a special occasion. Highly recommend for any event or getaway!
