What a wonderful trip I had with my 18 year old grandson! It was a small group, all-Inclusive trip and filled with adventure every step of the way. My grandson enjoyed it as much as I did. The guides were knowledgeable and filled with passions during wonder for Yellowstone National Park. Everything was provided for without having to pull out your wallet. A terrific journey outdoors for the young and old! Kudos for Austin Adventures!

The Patagonia trip with Active Adventures was exceptional in every way. Our guide, Alvaro was highly organized, professional and personable. A true leader, he understood how to work with each of us and cater to our specific ability and experience while keeping the overall group cohesive. Our guides knowledge for the geography, history, languages and fitness level conveyed. His passion for guiding and giving us the best experience possible was apparent every single moment. Our activities, hotels and meals were always flawless. Using Active Adventures after my excellent experience with Austin Adventures was the best choice. I will be travelling through Active Adventures and Austin Adventures again in the future.

Milford Track adventure

We had a really fun time with Active Adventures. We were on a guided hiking trip on the South Island of New Zealand. The food was good and the places we stayed over night were all different but quite enjoyable. The hikes were fabulous (though challenging!) Our two trip leaders were awesome -very knowledgeable, personable, and energetic. Unfortunately, 4 of us came down with Covid on day 5 and missed the rest of the trip. It might be helpful if Active Adventures required everyone to take a Covid test the day before leaving, just to decrease the odds of anyone else being exposed to someone asymptomatic on future trips.

Active Adventure has tour guides that take amazing care of their travelers. The tour guides make decisions during the hike that keep their travelers safe. They are well informed of the area they guide the group through, continually educating the group. The leaders set a pace that makes all the hikes doable. A traveler feels safe and cared for because the guides are local. The food and hotel choices are top notch. After a long day of hiking, an evening of good food and comfort always awaits.

Our hiking trip was awesome. The guides were helpful, informative, friendly and fun to be with. The guides took care of all the details such as driving, parking, meals, snacks, water, luggage. They led the hikes and gave us great information along the way. We are anxious to schedule another Active Adventures trip soon. We highly recommend this trip.
