Our Commitment
At W Bali - Seminyak, we are dedicated to implementing eco-friendly practices for a sustainable future. Our journey begins with educating our associates through comprehensive training, embedding a culture of sustainability within each individual.
To minimize food waste, we optimize our food preparation processes and partner with Scholar of Sustenance to donate surplus food to those in need. Our on-site hydroponic and soil gardens enable us to reduce external green leaf sourcing by 20%.
In our commitment to combat plastic waste, we have identified and eliminated single-use plastics, giving our sustainability strategy tangible meaning for our community through a partnership with Sungai Watch. Additionally, we have established an on-site composting facility to efficiently manage organic waste.
Beyond our premises, we collaborate with waste management organizations to ensure proper recycling. ROLE Foundation, one of our partners, collects our discarded soap bars and repurposes them into new ones. Lengis Hijau assists us by collecting our used cooking oil and recycling it into a valuable resource for transportation fuel.
