Our Commitment
As one of the greenest cities in the world, our vision is to be the leading sustainable destination in Asia-Pacific. In January 2023, Singapore was certified as a Sustainable Destination based on the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Destination Criteria after being the first to apply the certification process on a country level.
In the 2023 Global Destination Sustainability Index, Singapore entered Top 20 Cities, emerging 17th out of 100 cities, and 2nd in Asia-Pacific. This is testament to Singapore’s commitment to making tourism and events more sustainable.
