Here, tradition meets the latest trends in 155 generously sized rooms, each uniquely designed with a desk and a comfortable seating area. The Hotel Continental Oslo is terrific. It houses the understandably famous Theatre Café (Theatercaféen) which opened its doors in 1900 directly across the street from the National Theatre (Nationaltheatret). In 1971, it was restored to its original Art Nouveau style. In nice contrast, the hotel rooms and other public spaces are modern, cool and chic. The hotel is very conveniently located across the street from the National Theatre Station from which you can take the Metro or high speed train to the Oslo Airport.
