AlpenGold Hotel Davos
Alpine Golden Moments

The future of travel has arrived at the foot of the Flüela Pass in the Swiss Alps, and it is the AlpenGold Hotel Davos. This glimmering steel orb, set high above Lake Davos, resembles a golden spruce cone, and the inventive gastronomy served at three distinctive restaurants is out of this world. Parquet flooring and plush accents adorn the 216 individually appointed rooms and suites; absorb the alpine splendor from your private balcony. After a day on the slopes, soothe tired muscles at the spa, which features a heated indoor/outdoor pool. The kids’ and teens’ clubs engage tots to teens, as do blockbuster films in the cozy cinema.

Our Commitment
GOLDEN SPRUCE CONE
We understand that it is important for you to have an active role in protecting our environment and that’s why we’ve made it easier for you to choose a hotel that matches your sustainable values. Hereby we deliver best practice solutions on a daily basis, aiming to reduce our energy and water waste, as well as minimise our CO2 footprint.
•Woodchip Burner heating system: The wood is locally sourced and delivered to the hotel by the council therefore minimising transport. We further dry the wood onsite. •HRV – Heat recovery ventilation: Heat recovery systems typically recover about 60–95% of the heat in exhaust air and have significantly improved the energy efficiency of buildings •Pool Ozone Sanitising System: Healthier for our guests and better for the environment than chlorine. The outside Pool is drained at night in to holding tanks so we can keep the water at temperature with less energy. •Carbon footprint measurement: We are measured by Michel Reybier Hospitality on our Carbon emissions. The Target is to reduce by 4% on the previous year. YTD we are sitting on a reduction of 15% (as at Nov 2021).
The city of Davos has undertaken several major projects with the goal of minimising energy losses, improving water and energy supply and developing the public transport system. For these efforts, Davos was awarded with the «Energiestadt» label in 2012.
