We are pleased to be citizens of the Nordic countries, recognized leaders in global sustainability for many years. This designation is due in part to the peoples’ cultural desire to preserve the natural environment we enjoy so future generations can also partake. We are also fortunate that environmental and social issues are intrinsic to Nordic politics and public policy: investing in the required infrastructure and eco-programs to protect the environment and ensure liveability in communities throughout these countries remains at the forefront of our local and national governments.
