Our Commitment
As a socially-minded company, Dream Escape gives back to the world in many ways. Above all, we believe in giving back to our local communities and supporting charities close to our heart.
Through our contributions, we aim to help protect our environment and create stronger, healthier and more sustainable places for us to live, work and visit. We support this vision via various fund-raising events, charity challenges and volunteering. We actively work with sustainably aware suppliers to deliver more philanthropic inclusive travel programmes.
Every welcome pack that our clients receive is made up of locally sourced products which in turn supports the local economy of each community being visited.
Our tailormade programmes are always mindful and offer many experiences that fully immerse our clients into the local culture and traditions of the destination being visited. Connecting our clients with the local community, nature and the great outdoors is important to both us and our clients.
In 2020, we are embarking on a ‘Plant a Tree’ scheme with the Woodland Trust. For every travel advisor that attends a Dream Escape Educational Trip, we will plant a tree on their behalf. The 1,000-plus woodlands cared for by the Woodland Trust around the UK, absorb many tonnes of carbon each year. Our donations will help protect and add to this extensive carbon store, ensuring it continues to absorb emissions, as well as creating natural havens for wildlife and people.
