    Our Commitment

    VEGETABLE GARDEN AND GARDENS

    Richly planted with trees, hedges and coppices, our park is a refuge for many birds and wild animals (hedgehogs, rodents, frogs, molluscs, bees etc.). Compost enriched with hundreds of kilos of kitchen "greens" naturally amends the soil in our gardens.

    Most of the herbs that adorn the Chef's dishes come from the garden; they are picked every morning by the gardeners. Most of the flowers and foliage that embellish the house are grown on the estate.

    IN OUR CUISINE

    A large part of our vegetables and fruits are grown in Eugenie or in the neighbouring Gers, by the Bastelica family, practising organic farming since 1978. The poultry (chicken, guinea fowl..) and beef are raised with respect and kindness in Chalosse, on family farms. We work directly with the breeders and artisan butchers. This guarantees high quality meat and fair payment to producers and intermediaries.

    IN THE ROOMS

    Individual plastic toiletries have been replaced by refillable containers. Plastic is now banned. Our cosmetics are made specifically for us in a laboratory in the Tarn-France, according to "organic" certified formulas.

    The microfiltered water offered in the rooms is produced on site.

    MISCELLANEOUS

    Throughout the estate, we practice selective sorting to facilitate recycling.

    A maintenance, and house painting workshop, as well as a team of seamstresses work throughout the year to encourage the reuse of objects and linen; we also work with the local recycling centre.
