Beautiful hotel with superb service

Loved our short stay at the hotel. There was so much construction noise outside of our window due to the metro being built in Quito, that it disturbed my sleep. I would stay there again, but only if there was no construction.

Good. Staff was nice, hotel was beautiful., it was loud outside hotel due to metro construction or church bells ringing at 5am every morning. Overall it was a good stay.

Don’t miss this hotel

Casa Gangotena might be worth the trip to Ecuador all by itself. The rooms, staff, garden, breakfast are all first class. I found the small bar to be so charming and the floor so very beautiful that I requested that we have dinner there one night. The potato soup is delicious as is the 6 course tasting menu. The view over the plaza was delightful especially since we visited during carnival. Don’t miss the rooftop lounging area.
