Hyatt Aruba

I hate to say a resort has "gone downhill" because I have spent many wonderful days and nights at this Hyatt. Unfortunately, it seems that the management has cut back on staff/amenities at this hotel and service to it's customers and the rooms were noticeable. Grounds were ill-kept. Usually lovely hotel workers and staff were new, or not well trained. Very disappointed, will try a new hotel on the island next time.

Some challenges but overall a positive experience

The front desk questioned my Regency club access even though it was stated on the app. They made me screen shot and email them proof before I could even check in. Restaurant staff was amazing!! Rooms are very nice.

Beautiful Views and Beaches

The resort was simply gorgeous. The first day we didn’t realize there was one pool for families and another for adults but once we found the adult pool, we were golden. There were plenty of activities to do - we took part in parasailing, jet skiing, and took a jeep tour of the island. Off property, the strip was too commercialized for us and catered to Americans in a way that was too much - didn’t feel we got the Aruban lived experience which is something I look for when traveling abroad. But overall, was beautiful weather and a beautiful resort.
