The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is made up of original art deco carriages, restored to their 1920 and 30’s grandeur. It is a legendary train that criss crosses Europe and is as relevant today as it was when it was built as it creates new legends, stories and memories.
This train has been restored to its original condition, and over the last few years we have added Suite and Grand Suite cabin categories with private en suite baths and showers. Historic Cabins do not have private restrooms nor showers, shared facilities with a toilet & sink are located at the ends of each carriage. This is why each journey is always just one night, but we can assist with hotel accommodations before and after the train journey to create a longer experience.
Multi-night journeys (ex: Paris-Prague-Paris) still have one night on the train per leg. Stopover city stays do not include hotel accommodations, but can be added to the booking. Hotel rates are not included in the train fare.
