About Us

Anything but ordinary, Silversands Grenada stands out as a departure from the traditional Caribbean resort. Set on a less-known island, the upscale resort connects guests to pristine beaches and forests, an engaging culture, and distinctive cuisine. Within this minimalist setting, visitors enjoy a variety of suite and villa accommodations, locally inspired spa rituals, and the Caribbean’s longest infinity-edge pool. Dine at two restaurants showcasing the island’s agricultural and culinary artisans, from line-caught fish to organic, grass-fed beef, complemented by Grenadian craft beers, rums, and a global wine list.

Health & Safety

At Silversands Grenada we have enhanced sanitisation and hygiene measures with guests and team members’ safety and well-being in mind. Led by our Health & Safety Manager, we have built on existing protocols with increased hygiene measures as recommended by the Ministry for Health in Grenada along with guidelines from the World Health Organization, CDC and other leading organisations.

We have upgraded to higher grades of Ecolab* recommended COVID-19 disinfectants throughout all guest areas, transportation vehicles, guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, reception, spa, gym, and pool areas as well as back-of-house areas. Sanitisation is administered at 30-minute intervals.

Personal care kits for guests will be provided on arrival if needed. These include hand sanitiser, sanitised wipes, disposable gloves, and masks. Temperature checks are taken upon arrival from the airport using a touchless forehead thermometer and when dining in restaurants.

Our lifestyle & wellness offering is changing to offer activities following guidelines for physical distancing, including distancing of sunbeds by the pool and on the beach. To ensure smooth arrival and departure we are adding contactless check in and check out.

Dining and Spa

Upon arrival at the restaurants, bars or Spa, guests are requested to wear a mask, have temperature taken, and sanitise hands. It is not necessary for guests to continue to wear a mask during meal service. Tables and treatment areas have been rearranged to ensure physical distancing.

A QR code is available to download our menus onto guests personal QR reader friendly device where they will find Restaurant & Bar menus, Room Service menu and Spa menu. Guests may choose to order directly from their device, or our servers will be happy to assist with an order table side (with distancing protocols in place).

In Room Personal Mini-Bar

To ensure guests have their preferred snacks and beverages in their room or villa, we will send an order sheet, and only those items will be stocked in the room with charges as indicated on the order sheet. Items will only be restocked at guests request.

Housekeeping Service

We will service guests room or villa as normal two times each day or if they prefer to make other arrangements for less frequent contact, please let us know and we can arrange to suit. Increased protocols are in place including the use of gloves and masks by our team members while in your room or villa.

Poolside and Beach

Sunbeds and poolside dining tables have been rearranged to ensure physical distancing. Poolside and beachside service will continue as normal with protocols in place.

The following information will be sent to the guest as an update for a smooth pre arrival and arrival:

  1. It is a requirement that we have a copy of all guests, (including any children) passports as identification. To limit contact, a copy of passports should be emailed to us at or by WhatsApp to +1 473 423 4952
  2. The credit card used to make your booking must have the same name as the lead name on reservation. In addition to the charge for full accommodation and pre-booked transfers, meal plans etc, a pre-authorisation amount of US$300/day, will be processed on your credit card as security for incidental charges (meals, beverages, spa, boutique etc) during your stay. If you have any questions about our standard hotel credit procedures, or request for a different card to be used at check please let us know.
  3. As mandated by MOH, all travellers will be required to undergo a COVID test in your home city prior to embarking on your journey to Grenada. A copy of the test needs to be handed to authorities on arrival.
  4. You will be required to undergo an additional COVID (rapid) test on arrival in Grenada which will be conducted by MOH.
  5. Upon being given the all clear and proceeding through immigration & customs, transfers will be arranged per family by Silversands Grenada and charged accordingly.
  6. You will be required to quarantine for 14 days at the hotel but will be free to move around the resort.
  7. A PCR test will be done by MOH after 14 days to give the all clear to then move around the island.
  8. Your mini bar will be stocked with your pre-selected items from the attached list and replenished only on your request.

We source most of the fruits and vegetables for our restaurants through GRENROP (Grenada Network of Rural Women Producers), providing a direct and meaningful benefit to women growers on the island. What’s more, we maintain a nursery of supplemental ingredients that are sustainable in the island climate, lessening imports and, thus, limiting our carbon footprint.
