Day 1 Arrive Athens & Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon

Athens arrival and transfer to hotel of your choice.

Later in the afternoon depart for tour of Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon.

Day 2 Athens tour Acropolis & Acropolis musuem

Breakfast at hotel

Morning departure from hotel to begin the half day tour of Athens , the Acropolis and the new Acropolis museum.

Day 3 Athens – Nafplion

Breakfast at hotel

Morning departure from Athens to Nafplion with en route stop at Corinth Canal, Followed by tour of ancient Epidavros, Mycenae.

Day 4 Nafplion - Olympia

Breakfast at hotel

Morning tour of Nafplion town Palamidi. Afterwards depart Nafplion for Nafplion town and continue our journey through Tripolis and Megapolis to the cradle of the Olympic Games. Overnight in Olympia

Day 5 Olympia - Delphi

In the morning we Tour the site of the first Olympic Games (which ran from 776 BC to AD 393). Major structures include the 6th century BC Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Apollo, Nero's Villa, the Altis Sanctuary and a museum housing superb sculpture displays. We continue our journey across the Corinthian Bay passing Nafpactos and Itea and arrive in Delphi.

Overnight in Delphi.

Day 6 Delphi – Meteora

Delphi is by common consent the most spectacularly beautiful ancient site in Greece. A visit to Delphi is divided into three parts: the Sanctuary of Apollo with the Stadion; the Castalian spring and the Sanctuary of Athena at Marmaria; and the Museum. We continue or journey northbound to Kalambaka, a small Town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks.

Day 7 Meteora – Athens

In the morning, visit to the marvellous monasteries of Meteora. These monasteries are breathtaking structure sitting atop gray-rock pinnacles jutting over 2km into the Sky(Meteora means "hanging between Heaven and Earth") Visit two of the four or five monasteries still in use and view the ancient manuscripts, ornate icons and Byzantine artefacts. Return to Athens via Trikala and Lamia with a short stop at Thermopylae to visit Leonida’s Monument. Arrive in Athens in the early evening. Overnight in Athens

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

Deposit: Upon confirmation and written acceptance of services an initial deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount of final billing is to be sent to GREECE A LA CARTE within 7 days, with the exception of airline or ferry passage which must be paid in full prior to issuing tickets. Final payment is to be received no later than 30 days prior to clients’ arrival in Greece.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of cancellation, written notice must be received.

a. Cancellations made from the moment deposits payments are received and up until 30 days prior to the client’s arrival, will be subject to a 10% administrative cancellation fee.

b. In the event we are notified that the clients wish to cancel their travel services within 29 days of departure, the following cancellation fees will apply

c. Within 29-22 days prior to arrival 20% of the total amount

d. Within 21-7 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total amount

e. Within 7-2 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total amount

f. Within 48 hours prior to arrival: 100% of the total amount

g. Non Show: 100% of the total amount

h. Airline/Ferry Tickets 100% of the total amount

NB: In addition to the above mentioned cancellation fees, which are levied to cover administrative expenses, any non-refundable deposits charged by our suppliers and prepaid in full by GREECE A LA CARTE on behalf of clients, will be collected. These charges will be levied regardless of reason for cancellation.

A. Bank Draft or Company Cheque: Your cheque should be made payable to GREECE A LA CARTE.

B. Credit Card: American Express, Visa & MasterCard

NB: Credit card charges will be processed in Euro local currency of Greece and the company will exchange the Euro amount back into US funds at the exchange rate they have set, which may result in a slight variance between the Euro price quoted and the US price processed by your credit card company.

Required details: card type & number, exp. date, 3-digit validation code (on back of card), cardholder’s name, full address & signature on fax (Visa & MasterCard & Amex, are well accepted)
