Belmond definitely worth a stay

A fantastic view of the falls and access to the park after all the tourists have left make this an amazing hotel option for the falls. Great staff, great bar (if a little quiet) and food options. The passport check between Argentina and Brazil can be a big pain, however, so plan accordingly.

What a lovely hotel

All the glowing reviews were true. While definitely not a price range I usually stay in I trusted the reviews and gave a 2 night stay a try. It was absolutely lovely. The driver from Belmond picked us up at Melia in Argentina and worked with us on several other tours we did in Iguazzu on the Brazil side. Very efficient and everything ran smoothly.
The staff were all extraordinarily friendly and efficient and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely king suite and felt like I was in a apartment on vacation with a few steps away from one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The Iguazzu falls were as beautiful as I had hoped and having such a perfect location to visit them before and after the crowds made it even better.
Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay, the meals were good, expensive but very good in lovely surroundings. Definitely hope to stay there again one day.

Signature hotel, great staff, but the best part is it's in the park, so you can wander the falls when the park is closed with no one else around

This is a very special hotel. First of all, it is beautiful. I don’t know what all the rooms look like but ours was great. I could’ve spent the week in the bathroom alone. We had a little entry room and then the room which faced Iguazu falls. What could be better? I balked at the price and only stayed one night but would’ve stayed a week.
