GUARANTEE AND PRE-PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

One-night deposit at time of booking (excluding Festive)
Final payment & cancellation without penalty up to 7 days prior to arrival
Reservations made within 7 days prior to arrival, will require guarantee within 24 hours of reservation.
Terms differ for Peak Christmas & New Year periods.

GENERAL RESORT TERMS & CONDITIONS

RATES: All rates are per room per night , quoted in South African Rand (ZAR), and subject to change without notice. Property reserves the right to revise the rates in case of a government mandate to increase VAT, introduction of new taxes or due to revaluation/devaluation of ZAR.
NIGHTLY INCLUSIONS: Nightly rates include breakfast daily served in the restaurant or in-room dining (breakfast charge is non-refundable) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax at 15%.
EXCLUSION: Rates exclude R40 Tourism Levy per room per night (subject to change).
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in time for all guests is 2.00pm local time. Check-out time is 11.00am local time.
EARLY ARRIVALS: Early arrivals will be offered complimentary subject to availability.
LATE DEPARTURES: Late departures will be charged at 50% up to 6pm and 100% thereafter.
PARTY BOOKINGS: Bookings between 5 and 9 rooms - Guarantee &Cancellation policies may be amended by One&Only Cape Town at time of booking.
GROUP RATES: Rates are valid for FIT (individual travelers) only. Rates for conference, incentive & event business are available upon request. Please contact the Groups & Events Department for group enquiries (10 rooms or more) on email: Groupsandevents@oneandonlycapetown.com. No duplicate reservations will be held.
ARRIVAL INFORMATION: Arrival & departure details are to be provided to Reservations prior to arrival. Guests self-driving need to advise approximate arrival time.
CANCELLATION: Property reserves the right not to provide exemptions from its cancellation policy for medical matters, inclement weather or any other unforeseen circumstances. In case of a shortened length of stay, early departures, or date amendments the cancellation policy will apply for cancelled nights. To avoid disappointment, travel insurance is recommended prior to confirming a reservation and accepting the terms & conditions of Property’s cancellation policy. Failure to comply with any guarantee requirements by the due date will result in an automatic release of the booking.
DEPOSIT HANDLING: All advanced guest deposits are kept in a separate bank account, which is adjusted in line with the Advanced Deposits account as per our property management system. The funds in that account are not regarded as part of the Resorts available cash flow and are excluded from cash flow forecasts i.e. the Resort does not regard it as part of our own funds, as it should always be available in case of refunds
