Impeccably appointed in a tapestry of rustic elegance, the beauty of the luxury guest ranch accommodations at Paws Up is rivaled only by the views of the breathtaking Montana wilderness. These are truly unique dwellings in which no two private homes are alike. Indulge in an expansive Big Timber Home or one of ten new Wilderness Estates; luxury accommodations as spacious as the Montana sky that give a warm welcome to families, groups or honeymoon couples. Or hide away in a cozier Meadow Home. For a higher level of togetherness, we offer the Bunkhouse – a former hayloft ideally suited for a bachelorette party or groups on fly-fishing vacations. For a true Montana experience, there's our historic Morris Farm House, built in 1908. This charming farmhouse is remotely nestled on the bank of Elk Creek and simply oozes nostalgia. And for a truly unique western experience, outdoor enthusiasts will rejoice in a stay at Tent City. Enjoy luxury resort amenities like featherbeds, fine linens and all of the modern conveniences offered at our vacation homes – all while taking in the grandeur of the Montana wilderness.

With a unique blend of western chic, our private vacation homes provide the conveniences of a luxury resort with rustic elegance that can only be found in Montana. Resort essentials like hot tubs, flat-screen TVs with satellite and Internet access (Note: there is no cellular service on ranch property) are provided in all accommodations.

Drawing from the agricultural wealth of Montana and the West, the Chef at Paws Up creates world-class, five-star cuisine that articulately blends the most sophisticated culinary techniques with the freshest meats, produce and ingredients available. Huckleberries picked from the slopes of surrounding mountains might complement a breakfast of French toast and hand-made sausage. River-caught trout sautéed with fresh herbs may be paired with an exquisite Napa Valley Chardonnay. Soak up the rustic luxury of Paws Up at a lavish barbeque where guests may indulge in a flight of vintage Pinot Noirs as dinner sizzles nearby. Every sense is excited. Every meal brings new adventure.

On a wooded hillside high above the resort – perched at the tops of soaring pines – will sit The Spa at Paws Up. This haven of relaxation will offer natural light, soothing sounds and indigenous aromas–and that's just the lobby. We'll have masseuses that melt muscle fatigue, stress management for executives and calming treatments for jittery pre-wedding nerves. Every moment at The Spa at Paws Up will bring rejuvenation, fortification and relaxation. We'll give new meaning to the term "getting lost" in the woods.

Adventure enthusiasts rejoice. Montana wilderness adventures and western vacations take on a whole new life at Paws Up. Our 37,000 acres of Resort, 100 miles of trails, 7 miles of the Blackfoot River, and 1.5-million acres of the nearby Bob Marshall Wilderness combine to make for the ultimate wilderness playground. A true guest ranch adventure is much more than rounding up and driving cattle; at Paws Up guests experience non-stop wilderness adventure and action. Saddle up for a definitive western style vacation at The Saddle Club at Paws Up, take your best shot at a world-class sporting clays course, cast a fly with an expert guide for the most exciting fly-fishing in Montana. And, if that doesn't satisfy your adventurous appetite, there's also lake swimming, boating, hiking, mountain biking, rafting, tubing and nearby championship golf. Visit in the winter and partake of everything from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to downhill skiing and even dog sledding amidst the Rocky Mountains. Experience the western vacation of a lifetime. When it comes to wilderness adventures, Paws Up is an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Situated on a bluff overlooking the confluence of the Blackfoot River and Elk Creek, this special camp offers one of the most breathtaking views on our 37,000-acre property. Pinnacle Camp features six large tent suites (including Tango Point, an exquisite honeymoon tent) that include spacious en-suite bathrooms with a jetted tub and shower, a plush dining pavilion, and a myriad of luxury resort amenities. North Bank Camp

Available in June 2017, North Bank Camp is perched on a rocky, timbered bluff overlooking the Blackfoot River along a gorgeous stretch of meadow. It offers the same uncompromising amenities as our other camps, such as sumptuous bed linens, en suite bathrooms with heated floors and a camp chef and butler.

Several things, however, set it apart: first, its size. North Bank can accommodate larger families and groups with 4 two-bedroom tents and 2 three-bedroom tents. (The three-bedroom tents have 2 full baths.) Plus, every single North Bank tent has a riverfront location with a spacious furnished deck suspended over the slope to afford prime views of the Blackfoot.

Moreover, North Bank’s Dining Pavilion is our most expansive yet, with a stone fireplace, bar seating, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and spectacular views. In summertime, you might catch a glimpse of an American eagle diving for breakfast. Lastly, as the only Paws Up camp on the north bank of the River, it allows for a more secluded experience.

North Bank is ideal for those wanting to reserve an entire site, and no other luxury resort has anything like it.

What a wonderful place. If you love the mountains and outdoors its a must see location. The tents are beautiful and staff down to earth but real pro's. And the food is off the charts. I took my 12 year old for a father/son bonding experience. And though he ran me into the ground with non stop activities, its was something he and I will always remember. And the other families who became friends after just one meal together.

Number one:  Take the Montana scenery, the starry nights, the glorious mountains and the rushing rivers.  Then add number two:  Paws Up.  This ranch has it all.  From first class accommodations, delicious food, activities galore and a wonderful staff.  We spent a week here with our family and everyone hated to leave.  It is truly one special place.

A Great Week

We had a blast a Paws Up. There was so much activity. We love a vacation where we are outside all day and show up for dinner exhausted. There were tons of options for fun - rafting, ATV riding, hiking, biking, horseback riding etc. And the guides for each event were excellent. We were always in great hands. The food was AMAZING. The dining was extremely casual for such a nice resort, which is wonderful for families traveling with kids. And the staff was very considerate of the allergies some of our children had. Definitely a pricey vacation. The food is included which feels great while you're there, but all of the activities have a steep tag to them which ends up quickly if you have a big family. It was worth it, and we loved out outdoor fun in Montana, but the sum does leave you feeling a little blanched.

Amazing! I planned the whole trip with the assistance of Winn Harris, Brownell Virtuoso representative. The Resort was her suggestion based on my requirements for a family of 7 with different interests. To state that The Resort at Paws Up exceeded my expectations is indeed an understatement!! In absolutely every category: activities, dining, helpful staff.....and there are lots of them to make your every wish come true, to the perfect beautiful lodging in beautiful Montana, everything is worth the investment we made in this special week long family vacation celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. A must do trip for any small or extended family or adults looking for the best in everything. We sincerely hope to return for a "do over" in a couple years. By the way, the special July 4th celebrations were amazing. We are well traveled folks and like classy vacations and Paws Up Resort measured up!

Glamping-the only way to camp

By: BBJ&S

Reviewed on: 26 May 2018

This is an amazing resort. The countryside is beautiful and the camp tents are decadent with their king size bed, copper soaking tub, tiled two sink bathroom with walkin shower (not to mention heating/air conditioning). Our view above the river was gorgeous and sooooo relaxing. We loved eating at our camp pavilion- the food was excellent with lots of variety (kudos to Chef Kim and her staff). The camp butlers pamper you at every opportunity and all the staff are incredibly wonderful. And activities abound-something for everyone. We had a blast on the ATVs, rappelling, clay shooting, and enjoying the spa. Because we were there in May right after they opened the first camp, there were a few kinks that needed to be worked out with facilities and training new personnel but those were minor compared to the wonderful experience we had. Overall fun, relaxing, refreshing, reinvigorating, and a great way to celebrate a milestone birthday.
