The Royal Suite

London’s most famous Royal Suite has opened at The Goring following almost eighteen months of planning and refurbishment. Commissioned to commemorate the Centenary of the hotel in 2010, top designers were asked to bring The Goring's unique style to life.

With the latest audiovisual equipment hidden throughout, the four room suite stretches across the whole length of the top floor and overlooks the private gardens. Spectacular Royal Gainsborough silks have been used in all parts of the Suite. The Drawing Room and Dining Room are in the palette of powder blues whilst the bedrooms are champagne pink and a sage green silk from a pattern first woven in 1910.

Each bedroom’s en suite bathroom consists of unmitigated luxury mixed with the latest technology. Large walk-in showers accompany equally large marble baths complete with built-in TV screens.

A new balcony has been created running right across the suite with magnificent panoramic views over the skyline of London. Floor to ceiling French windows in each of the rooms open up onto this magical space with its romantic views over The Goring’s gardens and the rooftops beyond. Our largest and most splendid suite truly is a unique combination of elegance and comfort, perfect for those seeking the truly Royal Goring Experience.

I have never stayed at a hotel with such incredible customer and personal service. The Goring is one of the most charming properties in which I have ever stayed. Quality and excellence would be an understatement. Simply, the best.

The Goring is a wonderful little oasis in the middle of bustling London. It has the largest private garden in all of London; the Tea was rated best in 2013 in London; close to Victoria Station. The service is unmatched, the food excellent as well.

My wife and I were very pleased with the Goring. It's location is outstanding. The beautiful courtyard is a quiet oasis from the bustle of Belgravia. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is outstanding and represents a destination, by itself. The rooms are spacious and meticulously updated. Highly recommended without reservation.

We have now stayed at THE GORING three times, and we will definitely return on any trip to London. The hotel is intimate, elegant, personalized, charming, and warm. Every employee takes ownership; there are many long-time staff members who take enormous pride in their work. The Dining Room is particularly delightful. The hotel is located within walking distance to Victoria Station (trains and tube station), two major theatres - The Victoria Palace and the Apollo Victoria (now showing BILLY ELLIOTT and WICKED), Buckingham Palace, and the Mall. I cannot wait until we can return to our home away from home - THE GORING in London.

What can I say about a place with the highest standards and customer service. I did not think the continental breakfast was going to be enough, but it was perfect. The room was small, but quaint and very well done. The concierge was patient and extremely helpful. The doormen knew our names by the second day. The gym is a 1.5 mile to 2 mile run, but is nice. They even helped with a gym bag and water. It was so nice to know you had good friends in new places.

The Most Fantastic Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In

The Goring is Magical! The location- perfect right near Buckingham Palace. The food - divine. The breakfasts are very good & the bar food was delicious & served 24 hrs! The front desk- Amazing. Everyone of the front staff knew our name & eventually our room number. They went above and beyond to help us & make sure our stay was perfect. And it was. The Concierge was so friendly, helpful & knowledgeable (especially Patrick). The wait staff was very efficient & accommodated our requests. The Doorman - I am in love with Peter (he's been there 50 years) and he is now my Boyfriend. The Room- OMG! We had the "Most Splendid Garden" room that faced the second largest private garden in London other than Buckingham Palace & had our breakfasts on the balcony. If you can afford it- do it. It's magical & you are treated like royalty. Cocktails daily were put in our room, housekeeping was great. We will definitely return to London and stay tat the Goring & in the same room again !

I don't know where to start. We ABSOLUTLEY loved The Goring. The staff were kind and helpful. The door men were fantastic....my three year old daughter became best friends with one of them! The rooms were fabulous...beautiful decor, gorgeous amenities and oh so comfortable beds! The heated floors were the icing on the cake. We were there over Easter and so lucky to participate in the Easter egg hunt which my daughters loved!! Wish I could go back now!!
