The epitome of luxury, the Gritti Signature Suite Collection showcases the hotel’s rich historical past. The Gritti Palace features 61 luxurious guest rooms and 21 sumptuous suites, including suites with impressive canal views which reflect the intimacy of a private residence and provide a truly distinctive experience that uniquely captures the heritage of the palace and the cultural and artistic roots of the city.

All suites, the Palazzo Canal View Suites, the Patron Canal View Suites and the Heritage Suites, were designed by Chuck Chewning of Donghia and feature treasures such as hand blown Murano glass, archival historic fabrics, the finest Italian marbles, and rare books and objects that are unique to The Gritti Palace. Every suite is a work of Venetian art in itself, with the latest technology, sumptuous beds and spacious bathrooms.

Tribute to Venetian culinary traditions with creations that reflect the authentic Venetian gourmet cuisine and a renewed attention for seasonal ingredients. The atmosphere is casual chic during the day, with a selection of seafood delicacies, and formal during the evening.

Tailored around the materials used in the design of the Riva Yacht, the Riva Lounge on the iconic Gritti Terrace is a place where connoisseurs gather and enjoy indigenous cocktail creations, like The Riva Cocktail, and light lunch during summertime.

The Gritti SPA branded by Sisley Paris creates an intimate and unique ambiance in which to experience the ultimate in relaxation and personalized wellbeing.

Best of the Best

Venice’s most celebrated hotel, The Gritti Palace emerged from a carefully designed refurbishment more ravishing than ever. Each painting, objet d’art, and chandelier has been painstakingly restored by Venetian artisans; every inch of velvet, damask, and sumptuous silk wall covering has been replaced with archival patterns. Accommodations have been reconfigured so that the 82 individually decorated rooms and suites are larger and more inviting. Restaurant Club del Doge claims the city’s loveliest dining room view; enjoy drinks at the Riva Lounge. Be sure to check out the Riva boat experience, exclusively for guests of the hotel.

The Gritti Palace was easily the nicest hotel I have ever been in. Upon arrival, we received a double upgrade. The staff was extremely helpful with all of our questions. The outdoor bar was to die for. I would have a hard time going back to Venice and not staying at The Gritti Palace.
