General Information: The room rate quoted is inclusive of 14% VAT and Breakfast, but exclusive of a 1%Tourism Levy charged daily. In order to guarantee a reservation, we require one night's accommodation deposit or Credit card details with the holder's authorisation to deduct one night's accommodation. Our rooms are available for check in after 14h00, however if your guests plan on arriving earlier please let us know and we will endeavour to have a room ready for their arrival. Should guests wish to guarantee a room being available before 14h00 they may wish to extend their reservation to include the night prior to arrival at a additional night's charge. Alternatively we will be happy to register your guest/s and store luggage until a room is ready. If however, there is limited availability, an additional room charge will be levied for occupancy up to 18h00, after which an additional night's charge will be levied. Due to the passing of The Tabacco Products Amendment Act, and the potential harmful effects of passive smoking, smoking is only allowed in Leopard Lounge and Bar and designated smoking rooms. In respect of the legislation, we kindly request all of our guests adhere to the non-smoking policy within the designated areas of the hotel.
ENTRY / EXIT REQUIREMENTS: The passports of all travelers to South Africa must contain at least two blank (unstamped) visa pages each time entry is sought;these pages are in addition to the endorsement/amendment pages at the back of the passport. Otherwise, the traveler, even when in possession of a valid South African visa, may be refused entry into South Africa, fined, and returned to their point of origin at the traveler's expense. As a general precaution, all travelers are advised to carry a photocopy of the photo/bio information page of their passport and keep it in a location separate from the passport.The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is equipped with its own generator and therefore our guests will not be affected in the event of a power failure.Children's Policy: Children are most welcome at The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa Children under 12 years (maximum 2) per room sharing with two full paying adults in a Superior Sea-facing Room or any One Bedroom Suite are accommodated free of charge including breakfast. Children over 12 and under 16 years (maximum 2) per room sharing with two full - paying adults in a Superior Sea-facing Room or any One Bedroom Suite are charged R350.00 per child , per night, bed and breakfast. We recommend that children over the age of 16 be accommodated in a separate room.Mountain Facing and Luxury rooms can only accommodate a cot. There is a limited number of beds and cots available.Childminders may be reserved through the hotel. Wherever possible, please book this service 24 hours in advance.
