About Us

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has always been a byword for elegance and impeccable service and continues to feature in the list of best hotels in the world. Dedicated to unsurpassed luxury and known for its legendary service, this heritage has made it the address of choice for visiting royalty, film stars and notable public figures for almost half a century. It is the only city hotel in the world to achieve 30 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star awards for six titles under one roof. An icon in the world of luxury hotels, it offers Michelin-starred dining options, an award-winning spa and a location in the heart of the city that is only steps from the city’s finest shopping and historical sights.

With its breathtaking location overlooking Victoria Harbour, its exotic heritage steeped in the values of the orient, it is the winner of a stream of awards since the day it opened. Today, echoes of a glamorous past add to the high style of the hotel’s elegant interior. 501 spacious rooms and suites offer guests the ultimate in accommodation with sophisticated entertainment and business technology.

The ten restaurants and bars have been created by epicurean masters from around the world and include: two-Michelin starred Pierre restaurant by Pierre Gagnaire; stunning Cantonese dining at one-Michelin starred Man Wah; innovative contemporary European cuisine at the one-Michelin starred Mandarin Grill + Bar; and the Krug Room; a ‘secret’ restaurant hidden in the heart of the kitchen.

The award-wining Mandarin Spa offers utter serenity and a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. Honouring the hotel’s Oriental heritage and encompassing both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, this holistic spa is positioned over three floors and incorporates an indoor swimming pool, ladies’ salon, gentlemen’s barber and 24-hour fitness centre.

Best of the Best

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has reigned over Victoria Harbour for more than 50 years; the hotel established the brand’s legendary service and it now shines brighter than ever. Each of its guestrooms has been smartly designed, with rich fabrics and high-end touches like in-mirror televisions. Enjoy the harbour view from your glass-walled bathroom or your comfy chaise using complimentary binoculars. The hotel’s location in the heart of Hong Kong, coupled with a choice of ten different restaurants and bars (three with Michelin stars) and an incredible spa, makes it the perfect home for those seeking the Best of the Best in Hong Kong.

Advisor Tip

MO Hong Kong

Reviewed on: 10 Feb 2018

A hectic hotel more more corporate clients than leisure travellers. The ambiance is not at all welcoming. We arrived at 3.30 pm, suite was not ready. However, after communicating our unhappiness, a room was magically found. Breakfast is equally hectic. There isn’t that service element that is present in the MO Bangkok. This place pales into insignificance in comparison. This is not a hotel I would stay in again if visiting HK.
