A storied hideaway perched on the iconic rock in sunny St Barths. In 1950, Rémy de Haenen purchases the rocky promontory and builds a hotel upon it, gambling on the island’s potential as a dream destination. David and Jane Matthews and family purchase the property in 1995 from Rémy De Haenen and restore the buildings, constructing new additions and designing enhanced amenities that preserve De Haenen’s eccentric taste and zest for life. In 2014, the Matthews family partners with Oetker Collection to manage Eden Rock – St Barths. After an extensive, two-year rebuild following Hurricane Irma, the hotel reopens in 2019 to extraordinary fanfare.

SEASONAL OPERATIONS: inquire with property for exact dates

RATES

Room rates include accommodation, breakfast and airport or port round-trip transfers. A 5% local tax is in addition and billed upon departure.

CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION & CANCELLATION

The hotel requires a minimum stay of 3 / 5 / 7 nights. All reservations are confirmed with a deposit amounting to 50% of the total stay at the time of booking. Shorter stays are on request with a full payment at the time of booking.

Requests to cancel or amend previously confirmed reservations will only be considered by written application to reservations.edenrock@oetkercollection.com. The registered date of reception of correspondence at Eden Rock – St Barths will be the applicable date.

For a stay from October 22nd to December 17th 2020 or from January 04th to May 31st 2021:

In case a reservation is cancelled from 45 to 15 days prior to arrival, the deposit will not be refundable;
In case a reservation is cancelled less than 15 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total stay amount will be charged.

For a stay from June 01st to August 22nd 2021:

In case a reservation is cancelled from 30 to 15 days prior to arrival, the deposit will not be refundable;
In case a reservation is cancelled less than 15 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total stay amount will be charged.

Should a reduction of nights be requested within 30 or 45 days prior to arrival (according to the cancellation policy) then the full amount of the initial reservation will be charged. In case of no-show or any anticipated departure the full stay shall be charged. An administrative fee of 200€ will be charged should you wish to cancel a booking that is already confirmed, outside of the cancellation policy.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Check-out time at the Eden Rock – St Barths is 12.00 p.m. and check-in time is from 3.00 p.m.

EXTRA BED & PET POLICY

Additional person over 6 years old will be charged at 250 euros per night (+5% local tax).
Small pets (max. 7 kgs) are allowed for an additional charge of 80 euros per day.

HOTEL RESPONSIBILITY

The hotel is not liable for any personal issue, unforeseen circumstances or bad weather conditions leading to a cancellation. We strongly advise to purchase an insurance for your stay.
