TO BE GRAND IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD. This is the spirit of Le Grand Hôtel.
Located in the heart of the capital, facing the Opéra Garnier and a stone's throw from Place Vendôme, Le Grand Hôtel could only have "Grand" department stores as neighbours: Les Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps.
The history of Le Grand Hôtel is as grand as it is long sharing 157 years of Parisian life. Le Grand Hôtel has always lived at the rhythm of French history. Le Grand Hôtel has delighted citizens from all around the world, stimulated artists, and celebrated victories. The Grand Hotel is the meeting place for all those who think grand.
The Grand Hotel looks afar. From our 458 rooms and 90 suites, you can see either the Paris Opera House, the Eiffel Tower or look out over the rooftops of Paris.
To be grand is also to be close. It means offering tailor-made services to meet the deep needs of each individual. That is why Le Grand Hôtel offers a Club Lounge, a Marine Spa, a diplomatic wing and a wide range of the most beautiful salons in Paris.
The Grand Hôtel de Paris does everything possible to create the finest culinary experience. It all starts with the choice of the Chefs who know just how to combine ambition and humility, because aiming for perfection in the kitchen is an everyday exercise.
In recent months, Le Grand Hôtel has undertaken major and costly renovation work, in partnership with Pierre-Yves Rochon, to embellish and improve the comfort of our rooms and suites. Today, Le Grand Hôtel is certain to have the most beautiful suites in the capital and is happy to have kept its promise: "to be grand in every sense of the word".
The Café de la Paix is a Parisian institution in itself, whose reputation is earned client by client. The Café de la Paix will close its doors for renovation from 18 March 2020 for a period of 9 months and will reopen mid-December. Its restoration has been entrusted to the interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, with the mission of preserving the soul and heritage of your Parisian institution while adding a touch of modernity. During this period of embellishment, you will find the signature dishes of the Café de la Paix as well as the new culinary creations of Chef Laurent André and Pastry Chef Sophie de Bernardi under the recently renovated glass roof of the Grand Hotel (La Verrière).
