Located in London’s most exclusive borough, Brown’s Hotel is a microcosm of chic, modern and arty Mayfair making it the ideal base for luxury travellers. Contemporary design and an eclectic collection of works by leading artists including Tracy Emin, Rankin and Bridget Riley combine to give Brown’s its inimitable style and a charismatic air that brings guests back time and time again.
In celebration of the art in the area, Brown’s Hotel hosts exclusive monthly Saturday art tours introducing guests to the exhibitions taking place in Mayfair’s leading galleries. Each month a different participating gallery director takes guests on a personal tour of some of their favorite shows and galleries, helping international art lovers navigate their way through the hundreds of private shows that collectively make Mayfair one of the world’s greatest art destinations.
Each of the 115 rooms (including 33 luxurious suites) at Brown’s strike a perfect balance between style and sophistication, with elegant fabrics and furnishings offset by flashes of color. The recently redesigned Kipling Suite with its vibrant wallpaper, walk-in dressing room and lavishly marbled bathroom celebrates all that is indulgent and luxurious. Olga Polizzi, Director of Design for Rocco Forte Hotels, aptly explains that in the rooms at Brown’s “you feel that you are in London” and in The Kipling Suite especially the “English theme carries on and is maintained through a combination of antique pieces and contemporary designer items.”
Whether guests wish to celebrate over a decadent afternoon spent in The English Tea Room, meet for cocktails in the naughty corner of The Donovan Bar surrounded by Terence Donovan’s cheekier shots or discover a new, creative menu showcasing the finest elements of contemporary British cuisine with a hint of European flavours in The Restaurant at Brown's. Also within the hotel is an intimate spa sanctuary; a place to unwind and re-centre with treatments aimed at nurturing body and mind alike.
