Your Booking: To secure a reservation, a deposit of one night’s room tariff is required. To maintain a confirmed reservation for the period 15 December - 5 January (Festive), full payment is due 1 September, non refundable on cancellation. Cape Kidnappers and Matakauri Lodge Owner's Cottage may only be reserved as a Four Bedroom House during holiday period 15 December - 5 January. A two-night minimum stay applies 15 December - 31 March. We ask that you respect the non smoking policy within the Lodge and guest rooms. Rates are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of reservation.
Payment: Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Bank Deposit. A 2.6% convenience fee will be applied to payments made by credit card.
Alternatively, kindly advise if you would prefer to pay your deposit by bank transfer and a pro-forma invoice will be sent along with account details. The accommodation balance for reservations between 15 Dec - 5 Jan are required to be prepaid on 1 September to maintain the reservations (non-refundable upon cancellation).

Children and Families:
Cribs are available complimentary for children up to the age of 24 months. Children aged 2 - 5 years are at cost (POA) when occupying adults room using existing or additional bedding. One additional bed can be added to Deluxe Suites at Matakauri Lodge, Lodge & Ridge Suites at Cape Kidnappers, and Deluxe Suites at Kauri Cliffs only.
Please contact the lodge for children's tariff (under 5) and the additional bed tariff for children 6 yrs and over.
Alternate dining arrangements will be made for all children under the age of 12 after 7PM
Cancellation Policies
Winter Season Cancellation Policy, 1 May – 30 September
Cancellation outside 31-days of arrival will incur a $250 booking fee*
Cancellation between 31 and 15-days of arrival: 50% charge for room nights cancelled.
From 14 days prior to arrival: full charge for room nights cancelled.
Summer Season Cancellation Policy, 1 - 30 April, 1 October - 14 December & 6 January - 31 March
Cancellation outside 90-days of arrival will incur a $250 booking fee*
Cancellation between 90 and 61-days of arrival: 50% charge for room nights cancelled.
From 60-days prior to arrival: full charge for room nights cancelled.
Holiday Season Cancellation Policy 15 December - 5 January
Cancellation prior to 1 September will incur a $250 booking fee*
Cancellation from 1 September to date of arrival will result in the full charge for room nights cancelled
*$250 booking fee will be deducted from the deposit paid, and the balance of funds returned.

We encourage all valued guests to take travel insurance in the event that circumstances outside of their control cause late cancellation of their booking
