While we loved the hotel, it needs a bit of work to live up to incredibly high Four Seasons standards. Certainly no glaring problems and maybe it was more about my high expectations and busy holiday weekend.

The resort is beautiful and the staff is excellent in every facet of their service. The food is very good but the menu is limited. The concierge helped us in planning our activities and their suggestions were spot on. All in all, a great trip.

Laid Back New Mexico Resort

Reviewed on: 16 Apr 2018

Our stay at the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado was very nice. It is a very casual resort. We found most of the staff to be friendly and helpful. The service is not up to the standard of what you expect from a Four Seasons experience. There were things that were overlooked and we had to address. The service in the restaurant at breakfast time was a little slow. The menu in the restaurant was too limited at breakfast. A breakfast buffet would have been nice so that you could choose rather than having fruit or a large breakfast. The casitas were roomy with a nice sitting area. The heated closet and bathroom was a comfortable amenity that kept the bathroom warm even though the air was chilly. Larry in the bar was wonderful. He was friendly and accommodating when we wanted to sit outside and he tried to get the heat lamps to work. Amber was great at breakfast time. She remembered the tea my husband liked. Erin was a complete disappointment as a waiter.

Good for families or larger groups

Reviewed on: 04 Nov 2018

The staff here are all great and very eager to accommodate. Not a romantic hotel, would be good for families and larger groups who are either staying on property or venturing out to the areas National parks/pueblos/etc. The menu needs improvement, I would have liked some options that were more closely affiliated with Santa Fe and SW cuisine. We had one dinner there and made the effort to go to town for every other meal. The accommodations are fine, a bit pricey for what you get. With the exception of villas 1,2,3 &4, All rooms seem to have a view of the valet area/parking lot. I don’t understand why the rooms weren’t oriented to the magnificent mountain view to the west of the resort. Not very private.

Overall a nice time!

By: Sydney

Reviewed on: 17 Sep 2019

Overall we did enjoy our stay very much. The hotel provided us some goodies for our baby in our room and it seemed they had also done some slight baby proofing as well. We however had minor issues with housekeeping service, seemed they had irregular timing and not very consistent. Some of the staff on property didn’t seem very engaged and responsive. While we did really enjoy our stay, we have stayed at other Four Seasons properties with better overall service.

First Visit to Santa Fe

By: GregC

Reviewed on: 12 Sep 2019

The highlight of our first trip to Santa Fe was our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel. Even before the trip we worked with their concierges to arrange transportation (seamless), activities, spa, and restaurants. We were uprgraded upon arrival to their Sunset Casita. Best view and suites on the property. They have a fire engineer that will start a cedar wood fire in the fireplace in the room or patio. Most delightful and relaxing. They greeted us by name upon arrival and the entire staff anticipated our wishes. Food and bar cocktails were delicious. Special treats for me were the free Mixology classes and Cooking Classe with the Bartender and Sous Chef. For each class I was the only one in attendance and never felt rushed. The General Manager greeted us upon arrival, M. Bixente Pery. He is wonderful and offered us the use of their Mercede Coup courtesy car during our four night stay. I would highly recommend the hotel and hope to return soon.
