      About Us

Budapest: this monarchical city of Central European charm reveals a multicultural past in Europe, rich with Roman, Renaissance, Turkish, German and Austrian impressions, and Hungarian culture’s rare ability to fuse these interactions into its own unique identity.

Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest’s own ever-evolving wealth of diversions within reflects the diversity without. Complete with a new lifestyle and gourmet hub, the dramatic reconstruction of the multi-use Lobby was followed by the refurbishment and refresh of the suites and premium rooms on five floors.

At Gastronomy Quarter Downtown Budapest, the first Central European Nobu restaurant serves new-style Japanese. ÉS Bisztró is a contemporary brasserie for updated Hungarian-Viennese specialities. The Living Room is inspired by the local “Kaffeehaus” culture of old. Blue Fox The Bar mixes classic and creative cocktails.

To recharge and rejuvenate, Kempinski The Spa offers exclusive beauty and massage treatments, fitness facilities and a recently refurbished sauna universe of American Tulipwood Finnish and bio saunas, a steam bath and a Kneipp foot soak.

One of a kind in town, Kempinski Corvinus owns a corporate collection of Hungarian contemporary art. Some of the works adorn the rooms and suites, while others are available to view in the public areas. Open round the clock, the Gallery on The Promenade shows curated modern Hungarian art.

Further facilities: Nobu dishes available to order 24 hours through in-room dining; underground car park for 230 vehicles; electric vehicle charging station; gift and flower shop; Clef’s d’Or Concierge desk; Lady in Red customer service.

      Children Policy at Kempinski Hotels

      - Children under six years of age may share their parents’ room at no extra charge. Baby cots or extra beds are provided free of charge. For more than one child, it might be necessary to reserve a higher room category depending on the number of persons allowed in the appropriate room type.

      - Children between 6 and 12 years of age benefit from a 50% discount on the extra bed charge.

      - Breakfast is complimentary for children under six years of age.

      - Children between 6 and 12 years of age benefit from a 50% discount on the breakfast charge.

      - No benefits for children above 12 years of age.

      Best of the Best

Energising Budapest’s pulse, Kempinski Hotel Corvinus ups the ante throughout its striking, recently refurbished building. Suites and rooms on three floors have received a complete or refreshing makeover to create a design-savvy, comfort-first experience. For culinary diversions, Gastronomic Quarter Downtown Budapest serves New Japanese at Nobu, Hungarian-Viennese delicacies at ÉS Bisztró, classic and creative cocktails at Blue Fox The Bar, and coffee and cake at The Living Room. To charge up, Kempinski The Spa offers a brand-new sauna universe, indoor pool, massage and beauty treatments, including its trademark “hungarymud”.

Budapest is one of the nicest cities in Europe. Last time we were there it was 48 years ago 9 years after Hungarian uprising 1956. Change can not be described. We arrived just after the big flood so some of the atractions were closed (Margaret Island). Despite some of the limitations our 3 days stay was very busy and enjoyable. Hop on hop of busses are our favoutite to see the City

          Great Budapest Breakfast

The Kempinski Hotel in a Budapest is very centrally located, has a helpful staff, and the beds are really comfortable, But it is the breakfast that stands out for me. Breakfast is served in groovy , light filled room with a well dressed staff that went out of its way to get is hogs like carrot juice. There are many stations offering all sorts of wonderful food- meats and cheeses each have their own area, pastries have their own wall space and change daily, and you can order all sorts of eggs and cooked Meats. They had fruit I couldn't pronounce and yoghurt with all sorts of nuts I knew. They have juices and home made yoghurt and it was wonderful. They upgraded us and treated us well, it's a great hotel. Go hungry.

Very nice hotel right where you want to be in Budapest. Convenient to everything. The room was big and comfortable and the spa is amazing. Best of all was the restaurant with great service and excellent food. The restaurant would make any choice gluten-free and they even had a wide selection of gluten-free bread, rolls and croissants. We stayed in the hotel prior to a Danube River cruise and I would definitely stay at the Kempinski Corvinus Budapest again.

          Nightmare Room

          By: Wally

          Reviewed on: 11 Oct 2016

Upon arriving at the hotel, the horror started. We arrived early and didn't expect to get a room (drop off our bag and go sight seeing). WE were told that we were in luck; our room was ready and as a Virtuoso client we would get a double upgrade. The suite was roomy, but poorly lite. We opened the curtains to be faced with a wall shroud in a white netting. What a view? Rather than look at the ugly wall, we quickly closed the curtains. We were on a high from our cruise and decided not to ruin the experience fighting about the room. We would only sleep and dress in the room. The concierge's attitude was one of indifference and boredom, when we inquired about getting tickets to the Parliament . Upon checking out, I mentioned how unhappy we had been with the room. I mentioned the construction netting on the wall and he informed me that, "someone has to stay in the rooms on that side". We would have been happy with a regular room!!!!! Just an awful stay.
