Flanked by a tropical rainforest, limestone cliffs and the emerald waters of the Andaman Sea, the natural beauty on our Island of Legends is as dramatic as it is serene. Tucked away within an UNESCO World Geopark, our Resort’s Malay-style pavilions and villas offer both quiet, romantic havens for lovebirds as well as versatile family-oriented retreats. Wake up with a morning swim in your plunge pool before enjoying breakfast on the deck, then head out to explore the mysterious mangrove forests, winding rivers and ancient sea stacks that create our unique landscape. Find some balance at The Geo Spa, then sit down for authentic Malay cuisine at Ikan-Ikan before toasting the spectacular, jewel-tone sunset with a cocktail at Rhu Bar. Tomorrow, there will be even more wonders to see.
A daring transformation of the resort in 2018 and 2019 elevated the tropical UNESCO beach haven to a new level of modern luxury and indulgence. The new look is the work of cutting-edge designer Bill Bensley and his Bangkok and Bali based teams. It sees the signature colour scheme changed from earthen tones to a palette of bold and vibrant blues, adding further drama and excitement to the backdrop of beaches, rainforest and cliffs provided by the surrounding 550-million year old Langkawi UNESCO Geopark.
The Resort has already unveiled new Deluxe Family Beach Villas with Plunge Pool and new Three Bedroom Garden Villas with Pool, standalone havens that offer families with teens and multi-generational groups the extended space and convenience they need – combining luxury holidaying with ample personal space for personal daytime lazing and evening family together-time.
At Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, experiences for kids are an integral part of the holiday. Young artists and adventurers are in for a treat at the tropical-themed Lutong Kids Club, which offers an array of fun and educational activities for guests between the ages of four and 12 (kids under four are welcome with a parent, guardian or babysitter). All scheduled experiences are complimentary, from rock climbing and kite flying, to batik painting and scavenger hunts. Learn more about the Lutong Kids Club in our website.
