Turks and Caicos Islands Government has recently finalized an ordinance that now requires 100% of the government service charge collected, to be distributed amongst all resort staff. This will now necessitate the implementation of a 5% facility fee on all new reservations / bookings made on or after February 8, 2019. This facility fee is a replacement for the Resorts portion of the service fee that was previously shared.
