I felt it was overpriced for the amount of service. Absolutely nothing special about the room or the service. I would not stay there again. Upgrades were not available

The Hotel was nice and comfortable, however, the nights that we were staying there, they were doing construction work which was quite disturbing. Just outside of the bar area, major drilling and noise were taking place in the evening, 9-11:00 pm, while people were trying to enjoy themselves. It was quite disturbing and conversation was impossible. Otherwise, the rooms were nice and the service was good.

My husband and I had stayed at the NY Palace 15 years ago and coming back was nice.  Caroline booked us a beautiful room and service was great.  The location cannot be beat!!  The only issue I had was waiting in line for check-in. We waited more than 30 minutes to check in - the attendant said they were having computer problems. It seems the hotel is understaffed at the check-in desk as there was constantly a line at the front desk every time we walked through the lobby.   Overall, the staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel post-renovations is very elegant and modern.

The New York Palace was a beautiful hotel with a fantastic location for walking around NYC. Rooms were spacious, quite, beds were very comfortable and the food was very good. We stayed in a corner 2 bedroom suite that was beautiful and had everything you could need. Check in was quick and the clerk was friendly as were all that we came in contact with personally. Had drinks in the beautiful lounge area and the wait staff was excellent. It is a busy place with people coming and going all the time. I have nothing negative to say about the Palace, our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. I would only recommend to them that they make more of an effort to greet people as they come in the door. Doorman and staff in the lobby just don't acknowledge you at all and seem to look right through you. That is just my personal preference. I would definitely stay there again.

We had the best stay at Lotte Palace. From checking in early, getting upgraded, finding out we had 2x the breakfast credit than we expected, and all the tiny extras made our stay wonderful. Traveling with my toddler was so much fun because they gave him a sweet little teddy bear and daily macaroons. We already talk about going back and how we plan to stay at Lotte again. Great Hotel for a visit to NYC

By: Fourcworld

Reviewed on: 26 Jan 2020

We stayed at the Lotte Palace, which is perfectly situated near Rockefeller Center and Central Park. The staff were friendly as can be, and the rooms are huge by NYC standards. The hotel has a lot of history, and the Towers truly are a hotel within a hotel. If you have the chance, the Lotte is generous about providing local transport in its Mercedes-Maybach, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most of us. The dining room where breakfast is served is simply stunning, though morning room service lets you maximize the breakfast amenity a bit more. Bottom line -- a high-end NYC experience attainable at a reasonable price. We'll be back soon. Thank you!
