Really enjoyed the Bristol in Vienna. It's very well located next to the Opera House and right by bus, tram and subway. Concierge was very helpful. We had breakfast in the dining room everyday, which was great. Had some rain when we were there in June and the hotel lets you use their big golf umbrellas.

Great service, lovely views, rooms need a little updating

Hotel Bristol is a lovely, old world hotel centrally located in Vienna, next to the Opera House. The service was very good, food and car are excellent. I do think it's time for a refresh in the rooms with more updated decor and furnishings that were a little tired. Overall a great experience though!

Relaxing & Luxurious

My wife and I were very pleased by the The Bristol. The room, the location, the service, everything was wonderful. With the Opera House view, what more can you ask for in Vienna. The bedding and the traditional decor were all quite luxurious and the staff works hard to maintain that throughout. They are all very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Never have my wife and I wanted to stay in the hotel room just to stay in and relax as much as we did while in Vienna. It's all very comfortable and we found ourselves wanting to enjoy it. For what was offered, I thought it was a great deal. I've stayed in other major cities in Europe and in the US that costed much more but offered no where near what The Bristol does. If we ever go back, I would certainly consider staying here again.

Hotel Bristol

When we first chose Hotel Bristol before starting our trip, my concern was the cost in regards to our budget. Looking back, it was one of the better choices we made. The entire staff was extremely pleasant to be around and helpful from the minute we reached the door till we went to bed at night and the amenities were manifold. The room had an amazing view of Vienna’s skyline and the hotel itself was perfectly situated on “The Ring” so we were able to walk to fifteen to twenty sights on our “must see” list as well as be very close to shopping and restaurants of all types. We even sat and ate while enjoying a performance at the Opera House because they put it on a screen for public view. The history of the hotel and the people who have stayed there made it a place of interest itself, no spoiler of who. The Metro is just twenty meters away from the front door which made getting to and from places like Schloosburg Palace and the Danube inexpensive, quick, and safe. Stay at Hotel Bristol!
