Arrive in Style
❖ A pre-arrival letter is provided to our guests to share comprehensive information regarding “Kempinski White Glove Services” and precautions for Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul.
❖ Valet parking is available with all hygiene and safety standards.
❖ Our property is accessible by car, yacht and helicopter. Hygiene and safety standards are strictly applied during transportation.
A Warm Welcome
❖ An easy-to-access sanitizing station has been placed at the entrance of the hotel. Our guests are greeted by the iconic ‘Lady in Red’ team who lead them for a smooth check-in procedure.
❖ Luggage disinfection services are offered upon arrival. The luggage is delivered to the rooms with a note that states ‘Disinfected for you’.
❖ ‘Do Not Enter My Room’ option is offered to the guests as a new standard that employees do not enter the rooms unless requested. Room service deliveries, luggage assistance and other services are offered in front of the rooms.
❖ In case of cash payment, bill is disinfected with a special ultraviolet-light machine.
Rooms & Amenities
❖ Rooms are disinfected with the highest standard of cleaning products in hospitality industry.
❖ A sticker with a note “Be the first guest to enter” is placed on the door. It informs our guests that they will be the first to enter the rooms after the special cleaning process. QR code for “Kempinski White Glove Services” is also available on the sticker.
❖ All collaterals have been removed from the rooms and in room dining menu has been uploaded to the TV.
❖ Face masks and mini hand sanitizer bottles are provided as a welcome amenity.
❖ In addition to the hand sanitizer, we provide ‘cologne’ which is a symbol of Turkish hospitality to welcome our guests. The cologne contains 80% alcohol with antibacterial and antiviral effects on the skin. It is also recommended by Ministry of Health in Turkey.
❖ Turn down service is only provided upon request.
❖ Our laundry equipment has been renewed. All linen items are thoroughly disinfected.
❖ Air cleaning is provided with ozone technology for air purification.
Restaurants & Bars
❖ All furniture has been rearranged within social distance measures.
❖ All the food and beverage menus are available through QR code.
❖ Our employees wear white gloves when serving the guests.
❖ Open buffet is no longer served at the restaurants.
❖ À la carte breakfast is served at Gazebo Lounge or through in room dining. Our guests may enjoy dining in their balconies.
❖ Hand sanitizer stations are available at the entrance of our restaurants.
❖ Hand sanitizers are placed on the tables.
❖ Hygiene measures and checklists have been enhanced. All service equipment, chairs and tables are disinfected every thirty minutes.
❖ Cutlery is disinfected before the service.
❖ POS machines, pens and check folders are disinfected before presenting to the guests.
❖ Our hotel has a partnership with certified food suppliers.
❖ Pre-packed sugar and sweetener are served. Salt and pepper sets are disinfected regularly.
❖ Paper covers are placed on disinfected glasses.
In Room Dining
❖ In room dining employees wear masks during the service.
❖ Employees carry hand sanitizer bottles.
❖ In room dining menu has been removed and digital version is uploaded to the TV.
❖ Trolleys are disinfected after the service.
❖ In room dining service is between 07:00 and 23:00.
SPA and Swimming Pool
❖ Sunbeds are rearranged with social distance measures.
❖ Hand sanitizers are available at the pool area.
❖ Reservation is required for SPA treatment. There should be 30 minutes time slots between treatments for disinfection.
❖ A special ‘hot cabin’ has been placed at the entrance. Guests should enter the hot cabin and disinfect their clothes before entering the SPA.
❖ A disposable SPA and cosmetic treatment kits are prepared for the guests.
❖ Treatment rooms, showers, changing rooms and floors are disinfected every hour and disinfection checklist is updated accordingly.
❖ Gym equipment and mats are disinfected regularly.
❖ SPA and pool menu are available through QR codes.
❖ All employees keep minimum distance of 1.5 meters when interacting with the guests.
❖ Thermal camera is placed at the entrance of the hotel to check the body temperature of our guests.
❖ Public areas are equipped with hand sanitizers.
❖ Social distance stickers have been placed on the floors where necessary.
❖ 100% fresh air is circulated throughout the hotel. Air recycling dampers are closed and the AHU filter is replaced monthly.
❖ All employees wear masks in front-of-the house and back-of-the house areas. There are health and safety regulations for back-of-the house employees.
❖ Social distance stickers and hand sanitizer stations are available in back-of-the house areas.
❖ Intensive training sessions are regularly provided to every team member. Mandatory health and safety trainings are extended according to Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Turkey.
❖ A medical office is available for our guests.
❖ If a guest room is occupied by a guest with COVID-19 symptoms, the hotel ensures that the official measures are taken immediately. The hotel does not allow the room to be occupied and makes sure that there is no access to the room at least for 72 hours. The hotel is responsible and has the rights to increase the safety measures. Employees who enter the room must wear protected cloth and goggles.
