Best of the Best
Belmond Hotel Monasterio, a 1592 monastery turned luxury hotel in Cuzco, makes it possible for guests to learn about Spanish and Inca cultures during their stay. Enjoy an Andean massage based on a ritual developed by Andes natives; an aromatherapy treatment is administered using qantu, the sacred flower of the Inca. Visit the Lobby Bar for a wide selection of cocktails made from original recipes, and then dine on Peruvian and international dishes at El Tupay restaurant. Take time to meditate on your sacred destination in your Spanish colonial-style bedroom, where religious art and local decor adorn the walls.
Dine outside in the gorgeous courtyard by the ancient fountain if the weather allows; ask for a tour of the hotel if time allows.
